Do students have to be undergraduates, or are postgraduate and doctoral students eligible too?

Does the University of Cascadia have a Reserve Officers' Training Corps program, and if they do what branch does it serve?
Yes, students from U of C's graduate programs as well as doctoral students would be eligible for the trip, although their roles within the fictitious program would be consequently more involved and tailored to their disciplines than that of the undergraduates.Slam wrote:Do students have to be undergraduates, or are postgraduate and doctoral students eligible too?
Yes, in light of its longstanding association with the US Defense industrial complex, U of C has ROTC programs for the Army and Air Force, as well as an NROTC program for the Navy and Marines. The NROTC program is considerably newer, recently acquired through U of C's absorption of a smaller post-secondary institution. Joint Base Lewis-McChord is quite close to the University, and Naval Base Kitsap is about an hour north of it by car.Applesintime wrote:Does the University of Cascadia have a Reserve Officers' Training Corps program, and if they do what branch does it serve?

[Are] guide dogs allowed on campus / to reside in the dorms?
The University's policy on service animals would look something like this:
Generally speaking, students may choose to have an animal that legally qualifies as a service animal live with them in their residence. If you hope to have your service animal stay or live with you in residence, you should contact your residence prior to moving in, so that staff can make appropriate preparations and consider any needs of other students or staff who may also require accommodation.
Students hoping to have a service animal live with them in residence should also consider registering their service animal under the voluntary registration process set out in the student handbook. Contact your campus accessibility office for more information on registering your animal.

What MREs have been provided? (AKA: Do Janus-Hayes give a damn about any dietary requirements the subjects may have?)
Kicking Akamatsu in the face since 2010
They've been issued randomly, and were drawn from 2021's menu. It's up to you what they received.

So, if someone made something like, dunno, a film student joining the expedition for a student documentary work or similar, would their equipment be confiscated once they're in the game, or would that someone be allowed to go full found footage the entire time? I'm presuming the latter based on what I've read, but just making sure.

Yup! There's no reason to confiscate the equipment from the facilitators' perspective.KamiKaze wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 6:45 am So, if someone made something like, dunno, a film student joining the expedition for a student documentary work or similar, would their equipment be confiscated once they're in the game, or would that someone be allowed to go full found footage the entire time? Follow-up question: what is the U of C's policy towards alcohol when it comes to people who are older than 21? Are they allowed to bring it on campus but not allowed to take it out of their dorms? Maybe something else?
