Lyn did more reading and shit while being indignant about her classmates until class ended.

A hiss?
A hiss!
While the teacher didn't notice, someone else sure did. Carol spun around, and saw that it came from Karl Chalmers. Now, Karl wasn't a bad kid in any sense of the word. In fact, he was one of those kids who one could say was too good. He always studied, payed attention to the rules, and so on. It was like he was some sort of robot created to do school related things and stuff. But Carol didn't hate him, even if he could be a spoilsport, like now. It was hard for Carol to start hating people, really. And what could she say? He was just a bit more responsible than everyone else in the school, herself included.
But she still couldn't help but be worried for Amber. After all, even if the class was boring, the teacher wouldn't sympathize and so she could be in trouble, especially if it was found out exactly what the note said.
Amber hissed back, and suddenly...
Oh hell. The teacher was calling her out.
This wasn't going to end well. Amber did say he started it, but again, the teacher wasn't going to sympathize.
Carol could only watch as the argument continued, and as the class went on after the argument her boredom remained. She had tried her best to pay attention since they were supposed to write a paper on this, but it was difficult.
Several more minutes passed.
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNG!
Oh? Was that the bell? Yeah, it was!
Carol scooped up her things and tossed them in her bag.
"Now remember: the homework is finishing your essay, which is due on Monday", Ms. Hall said.
God. There were a lot of things she wanted to do once school was out! But oh dear. Paper. Yeah, she had to write about how stunning and symbolic men wanting to hunt phallic objects full of sperm apparently is. What's more, she barely got it! Perhaps she could get a study party with Amber after school or something? That would be divine!

Oh, so she was playing the blame game now?
Karl crossed his arms as her pencil was jabbed in his direction. She tried to pin the blame on him, as if he was the one who passed over the note.
Yeah right. Him do something bad? He straightened up, looking at Mrs. Hall. If the girl wanted to bring the law into this, so be it.
"Mrs. Hall, I was simply informing her of the school's policy against passing notes in class. I was hoping..." he glared at Amber, "that there wouldn't need to be a big deal made out of this."
When Karl had finished speaking he looked at the clock. Class was almost over.
What a waste of time.

He said this, no she said that, no he said she said oh bloody hell were they ever going to-
Oh that was the bell. Time to leave now, wasn't it?
Anna started to pack her things from her desk. Now what was next period? Or was this the end of school? Lunch? She pursed her lips to try and think. If only her watch wasn't broken. She'd look at it, and she'd deduce from whatever time it was now what she had, whether it was her lunch period or the end of school or she still had math and biology and whatnot to go. But instead she'd dropped it in the bathtub-
Just like how her books dropped from the open zipper of her shoulder bag all over the floor. Yes, kind of like that. Only more watches stopping and less books spreading over the floor.
Anna just sort of stared at the spread of books and papers in her collection now shamelessly wrapped around the floor. This wasn't optimal. She had places to go, people to meet, essays to write, and now this? She sighed.
"...darn."
Anna got down on her knees and started picking up her books.

Karl went on his goody two shoes tirade on how he was so innocent and a martyr to school philosophy whilst Amber flapped her hand and mouth like a babbling muppet, rolling her eyes at his obvious attempt to get on his hands and knees and kiss as much of his teacher’s ass as possible. He could hope for a little deal as much as he wanted; that was not Amber’s way.
A stern glare from the teacher, however, was not something that Amber felt up to arguing against. “Amber.” Mrs. Hall stated without hesitation, her stern voice enough to put her student in her place, even if she was pouting and folding her arms in a huff in return. As much as Amber could act up at the slightest provocation, the assignments she produced convinced Mrs Hall to give her a little slack so long as obedience was the inevitable outcome of her outbursts.
Amber continued thinking terrible, nasty thoughts of Karl as the clock ticked towards its bell, finally ending the droning lecture on Mobius Penis Borefest. She shot another glare behind her at Karl before grabbing up her things, stepping up to Carol whilst hearing her teacher mentioning something about homework. Amber was in no mood to pay attention to any assignments, something that would catch up to her later when she was reminded at the last moment and scrambled to put together the barely comprehensive pieces that soured her streak of otherwise quality work.
She was quick to start venting to Carol, though her insults towards Karl were no more complex than the reasons she had started arguing with him in the first place.
“Hate him, hate him so much.” Ugh. “Tell me that he sucks Carol, tell me now before I tell him again.”
