The Apocalyptic Rockfight

Things had cooled down in the quarry. The rocks, for the most part, had slowed down, and the motley crew they had inadvertently formed were on their way out. Slowly and steadily walking out under the protection of Mercedes' parasol.
Of course, it was never that simple around here. Their school had too many fucked up people for that.
Crispin "I don't know any Naruto Jutsu" Cuyler. That shit had been something he'd told Kyle in public, and while he knows there aren't that many people around here that know ASL they still had the decency to not make him sound like a freak for using it. But that was Crispin for you; he was the biggest jackass from these parts.
He was now riding around peppering people with paint. He zoomed right at them after a point and started circling them like a shark, hollering all the while. Kyle took shots here and there, a couple across his left arm and one that had sailed right onto his beak. His face shot down in a vain attempt at covering, eyes stinging with tears. His beak had always been sensitive, and it hurt so much when it hit.
But he kept walking; he was not the only one hurting.
It did not take long for Crispin to lose interest and decide to go for other people. They could still hear him in the distance hollering and over-compensating all the while. After a while, he zoomed off. All Kyle could say to that was good riddance. Or, think, rather...
Austin snaked out of their grasp to go towards Jenelle and his other sister whose name eluded him at that moment, ostensibly to go home; good luck with that. A few words and they were off. Kyle took the opportunity to nurse his beak, his right hand shooting towards it and holding around it while taking a few breaths to calm himself. Mercedes decided to leave at the same time. Probably, because of Jenelle over there, Kyle did not think much about it. Many people had issues with her. She gave a few comforting words to him and Kaine before skedaddling away. She was quite the sight considering her outfit... and the blood, and the paint, and the war parasol.
Other than that, she seemed fine. So, Kyle let her walk off. Instead, after having a brief breathing exercise, he carefully grasped the edge of Kaine's shirt; around the shoulder. Gave it a tug to indicate that maybe, the two of them should get out of dodge. Especially; since people were now screaming about cops. Kincaid had snitched apparently, funny, considering he's partly responsible for this whole mess, to begin with, then again, so was Austin.
Whatever. He and Kaine were out of there. It was over. Kyle started to walk away from the quarry. He paid no mind to people who were also running out of there. He stuck his neck out enough for today.

Claudia quickly backed away from the quarry. The fight looked like it had been chaos, but it was over. She'd rather not get involved, anyway. What if she got bonked on the head and accidentally triggered her Gift? It was too big a risk for her to take, so she just walked away. Maybe now she could continue her hike in peace. Kaine was just relieved to be able to get away from the scene of many crimes with Kyle and he knew that his parents were going to become banshees as soon as he opened the door. He was still limping beside Kyle and he was more quieter than normal.
He really should have just turned invisible, but leaving his friends to fight the war on their own was a big no to him.
His head was throbbing like hell and his ankle was hurting like a complete baby.
He definitely needed to see a doctor for this.
Whoops.
((Kaine Griffin is out of the rocks hell!))

Her hand was very warm.
That was Gary's first thought for some reason. Maybe it was because he was still reeling from getting knocked out. Maybe it was because it had been a long time since he last held hands with someone. However, it did little to ease his confusion as Yvette led him to the water.
Then she posed a question, and he provided an answer.
"Gary... Gary Greer-Wheatly."
Not even a second after he said that, police sirens could be heard in the distance.
They didn't stick around long enough to see the aftermath.

As the goth shouted about Kincaid being a narc, he flinched, tail jerking hard to the left, hard to the right.
One hop this time.
"Fuck you," he snarled, "someone needed to - it's her cell phone. Fuck- fuck you."
((He dropped to all fours and sprinted down the path))

"Nice to meet you," Yvette said.
The sirens cut further discussion short. As quickly as she could, while still making sure to keep track of all her things, she slipped her sandals on, pulled a sundress over her swimsuit, and packed her belongings away. It was messy, and slower than it could've been, but she still made it out before some of the others, and managed to avoid any official encounters.

"Pussy-ass bitch!" Sarah shouted after Kincaid.
Astrid inhaled through her teeth, still facing towards the space where Kincaid had been moments before.
"Mkay, let's leave." She stated.
And then she and the rest of the goth gang crept away.
((She dealt with the cops later.))
