My computer is having issues and is stuck in a crash-restart loop. So until I have it fixed, I might not be on as much since I'm borrowing a laptop.

I should have posted this two weeks ago, but I've been busy lately. I've started a new job and I have a bunch of commitments outside of it. So I'll probably be slow to reply to stuff for a little while.

I'm going to be on a trip from 3/4-3/8 and may not find time to post. There are chances, but they're not guaranteed. This is for my thread partners.

I don't expect this to affect much outside of a couple days, but I am going to be adjusting my schedule for the week of spring break so I might be around or not around at different hours than usual.

I'm having a really difficult time writing about the subject matter we're writing about in the current climate and the fact that I've been on my own for like 3 weeks is starting to really take its toll on me.

I'm going to try and keep up to my posting but I apologize to those I'm in threads with if I'm not overly responsive.

Meant to post this earlier but I forgot. Anyway, now that I'm out of V7 I'm going to be taking some time to recharge. I'll still be around but you may need to ping me directly on Discord or something to get my attention if I'm not active at the moment.

I hurt my nuts while asleep and it hurts to sit down in a chair (I probably don’t have anything serious it just hurts and nothing else)

So because I usually sit down to write posts and I’m gonna be sitting less, I’m also going to be posting a bit less

I've been feeling really bad about the work that I've been doing on the site. I don't know if it's just not very good or if no one's noticing it; I've been having a really hard time looking at what I've been doing and feeling good about any of it. Not a whole lot in my life outside of the site is going very well either, so I kind of feel like I don't really have anywhere to run to in terms of outlets. If I stick around too much in chat or on the boards I'm likely to just impulse-kill my character if I get in a bad enough mood. I can't really spend more time here when the only thing I think of when I try to work is "if I stopped posting, no one would notice."

Much as she is taking a day to rest and mend her injuries, I think I need to take some time to help myself, and maybe get a fix on what I'm even doing here and whether I've created anything of value.

Moved on the request of staff.

Two things! One long term, one short term:

1. My uni term has started up again and one particular class this term is going to take up, like, basically all of my writing energy. Unless I'm misunderstanding what the course is about, the short is that I have to create a novel-length work of fiction, idk exact word count but my assumption for my thing is that it's going to be 75000+ words by roughly early November (specific date the 12th but could be earlier). I'm, like, totally down to do this, I'm just aware that I'm going to sacrifice activity for characters and possibly other things on SotF in order to put wordpower into my uni work. It _might_ turn out that I'll have the spare writing power to delegate, but don't count on it.

2. My internet provider has completely crapped out and is refusing to work. I can just use my mobile as a hotspot/access the site on mobile but in terms of writing/participating in Discord conversations I'm going to reel back because I have pretty limited data and I don't know how much using my phone as a hotspot will use. This is more like a formalized away but a. this is too open-ended in terms of when it's going to be fixed and b. I didn't want to possibly overwrite one thing by putting the other thing in a different thread.

But yeah. That's it. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

So hey, as some of you may know, I've been sick on and off for the past few weeks. I have a doctor's appointment scheduled for next week, since it's been coming and going and I need help, but I may be slow to respond to certain stuff because of it.

I am in Connecticut, which has widespread power outages due to a large storm that went through the area a couple days ago. I will likely be unable to post easily for up to four days.

My work schedule is changing again and at the moment nobody seems to know for sure what our actual hours and duties are going to be. Depending on what happens, my availability might be affected but I am unlikely to have to actually take a full Away.

I talked about this over in Mini chat, but there are literal wild fires in my area. I'm not in direct contact with any flames, but there are ashes snowing from the sky, the air quality's shit, and it's hot. We're also due for a power outage this evening.
