"I don't know. Am I Astrid Millar?" Astrid responded, winking one of her goth eyes enigmatically for the children.
The eyes of all the twelve-year-olds widened.
"Can we - can we take a picture with you?!" The corgi boy asked.
Astrid exhaled amusedly through her nose.

"It's... I think, when you're in a place like that for enough time, it starts changing the way you think. People keep killing. People keep dying. Bad things keep happening, but the more they do, the less you care.
