New rules and deadlines:
Hourly Deadline: Once an hour, when the minute hand of the clock points to the three o'clock position, The Director will audit the room. If nobody has been eliminated since the last three XX:15 check-in, she will spin a wheel and deauthorize one medallion, chosen at random, rendering it invalid.
Medallion Hunt: While not an official rule, The Director has revealed that a medallion somehow got lost in the room during the commotion. It is now up for grabs, and characters may attempt to search for it—but they better move quickly, because it will surely be a target for most of the room.
The next check-in will arrive in:

Hey, folks! The check-in is up!
The next one will occur after a bit under three weeks, as in two weeks I will be in the middle of a family visit. This conveniently also avoids this phase being cut too short due to the slight delays.
If nobody is eliminated, we will once again vote between rolls and a rules change. Additionally, if nobody is eliminated, the medallion deauthorization clause will kick in, and one medallion will be deauthorized. If anyone is eliminated, neither of these things will happen.

Looking at the pacing, I feel that three-week phases allows for a little more time for each phase to feel like half an hour IC, and also it allows a day or two of check-in delay to not eat a big chunk out of the phase. Since it's been working pretty well, I'm going to stick with that for now. This means a bit under three weeks until the next check-in.
Additionally, if nobody is eliminated, we will once again vote between rolls and a rules change. If anyone is eliminated, this will not occur.
