As the blade came towards his hands, Cole raised his grip to a one-handed one, right beside the steel head of the hammer, and blocked the slash with the thick wooden staff again. Seeing an opportunity, he thrust the end of the hammer at Alan's face, and came forward with one of his feet towards the other boy's groin....

Unable to block with his machete, Andrew tried his hardest to block with the only thing available: his left hand. Surprisingly, it stopped the hammer slightly, though he now felt like his hand was broken. Andrew disengaged before the kick hit him and rolled behind Cole, where he made another slash at his throat.

[Cactus]

Jerking his head away, Cole felt the machete carve yet another mark on his left arm. The cut now resembled a bloody X. Diving over to the other side of the gazebo, where his sledgehammer had pierced it before, he picked up a piece of wood shard and tossed it at Andrew before taking another swing with the sledgehammer, this one at the knees....

Andrew ducked (though the splinter grazed him) and rolled back to avoid the new onslaught. He was starting to breathe heavily as he charged again, stabbing at one of Cole's eyes.
"You are skilled, but I will be the one survivor!" his voice was now becoming more panicked and unsteady, as if he were saying these things not out of overconfidence but to convince himself. To be honest, he was getting even more afraid than he already was.
I don't think I can win. This guy's too good. I might have to get away. But how? He'll kill me if I run, and I'm not going to beg him to let me live.

[Cactus]

Cole again managed to dodge the blow, and again the machete carved another cut into Cole's left arm/shoulder area. This, finally, pissed Cole off, and he lost it. It being the small control that was holding back his sanity.

"Would you STOP CUTTING MY FUCKING ARM!!!"

With a scream, he stepped towards Andrew, grabbing at his shirt and attempting to send a vicious headbutt in his direction.

As the angered Cole charged, Andrew laughed inwardly that he had hit the same place three times in a row (only aiming there once) and stepped to the side to avoid the charge while stabbing downwards at Cole's back.
Time to end this. I can't take this much longer.

Cole saw Andrew move out of the way all too late to avoid the blade, but he managed to twist his body in order to stop it from slicing any crucial areas. Of course, that didn't stop the machete from lodging itself into Cole's upper left arm. The blade cut fairly deep, and in shock, Cole pulled away, taking the machete with him. With angered disbelief, he backpedaled to the opposite side of the gazebo and looked at Andrew in an almost shocked disbelief. The other boy had hit nearly the same spot four different times. Holding his arm out in front of him, Cole looked at the machete sticking out of his arm. It wouldn't be difficult to just take it out, but in case it had hit an artery...Cole swore. This would prove to be a problem. He looked at Andrew again and raised his right hand in somewhat of a 'what the hell' gesture.

"Dude, what the hell did my arm ever do to you? Fucks sakes...you asshole!"

Andrew didn't answer. He himself was surprised that he hit the same spot four times, partly to accuracy, and partly to chance. but instead of answering, he charged at Cole and grabbed his machete, pulling it out in a slice reminiscent to the shape of a crescent moon. then he simply threw a quick roundhouse kick at Cole's head.
How much punishement can this guy take? And why the fuck do I keep hitting his left arm?!

As the entire secene played out under her, Xian remaind dangling from the rafters, frozen in fear, unsure of how to react. But, it was when the strange boy turned on her, and was going to slice her, that Xian broke from her daze.

Cole...she had to help Cole. He was so nice to her, and he risked his life to save her. Now, he was hurt, bleeding, and she was doing nothing.

As she watched the new boy kick at Cole, Xian went into action. Silently, she dropped from the rafters, and pulled the corkscrew from her waistband. She kept herself low, and approached towards the new boy, her eyes never leaving him. True, Xian was small, but years of gymnastics and cheerleading had made her legs powerful. She stood up, and with aal of her might, she swung out a low sweep kick towards the boys knee, hoping to shatter it, and bring him down.

Andrew's eyes widened in surprise as his footing was lost and he hit the ground with a loud thud. Regaining his footing, he stared both of his opponent's down, keeping both in front of him.
"Neither of you will leave, I saw what happened to my classmates, it won't happen to me! I will be the one who survives!" he was now obviously merely convincing himself of this. He no longer had any idea if he could win, or even if he'd live.
If I give up now, just throw down my machete and ask forgiveness...no, they'd kill me. They all want to kill me. I can't die!

Cole winced as blood pumped out of his wound. He inwardly wondered how deep the cut was, and if it had hit an artery. If so, he wouldn't have too much longer to think about it.

What an ass...

Cole looked at the other boy. There was no provocation for the attack, and Cole knew the type that Andrew appeared to be. Fighting for no real reason at all. Cole didn't understand the ramblings about his class or whatnot, but he figured that it would be in his best interests to take this boy down. As a feign, he put on a shocked look and looked past Andrew, mumbling an expression of disbelief. As he did, he hoped inwardly that he'd fall for it, as he swung his sledgehammer towards the other boy's head and shoulders...

OOC: ...knees and toes, eyes ears mouth and nose! YAY!

Andrew rolled behind Cole to avoid the swing and slashed at his back.
"Are you even trying? You're practically begging to die!" he shouted, slashing several times in succession. His blood was starting to pump at an unhealthily fast rate, his adrenaline spiking. If things didn't end soon, he thought he'd have a heart attack. Of course, if he paused, this guy would take advantage of it. Andrew didn't want to die, as he had said several times, so he'd have to worry later.

Feeling yet another slash onto his left arm, Cole got pissed. Seeing yet another slash coming his way, he tried a tactic that he hadn't even thought of yet. Raising his injured left arm (how much worse could it really get?), he took his hand and grabbed the blade of the machete. He felt the sharp blade cut into his hand a little, and he winced as he felt the blade press further in. What this accomplished, however, was that it stopped the attack and held Andrew up a little. With his right hand, he jabbbed at Andrew with the heavy end of the sledgehammer, and tried aiming a few kicks towards his stomach area.

Cole's plan would have worked if his hand weren't made of flesh. Andrew freed his blade by slashing downwards, then lept back, slashing at Cole's legs. Grimacing, he could only pray he was able to defeat Cole. He had no idea how long they'd been fighting, but Andrew's psychotic confidence was wavering, and he had no doubt Cole was gaining the upper hand. With an almost broken left hand and incredible pain in the leg and back, he couldn't keep this up long.

Having accomplished nothing but getting a bloody hand, Cole swore. His shoulder was beginning to hurt a little, and he didn't know how much more of this he could take. Managing to avoid the slash to his legs, he ran at Andrew, swinging the sledgehammer back and forth, hoping to catch either the machete or his arms/elbows, either one would do. He needed to knock Andrew over somehow, hold him down, and then maybe Xian could do a number on him with her corkscrew....
