Andrew dodged the blows to the best of his ability, going behind Cole when necessary to get off a slash. all he could do was wait until his adversary tired himself out by making him miss, then he'd strike. This could buy him a little time and possibly allow his pulse to stop racing. He thought he was starting to get the hang of how to use his weapon, and the red covering the blade helped his confidence a bit, but he still didn't know if he could win.

Cole swore as Andrew dodged another swing from the hammer. This was getting ridiculous. Diving to the side, he fended off another blow and rolled to a kneeling position to Andrew's left. He horizontally swung his sledgehammer at the knees, hoping he would pop one of them out of place...
Leaping back, Andrew quickly closed the gap and kicked at the hammer while stabbing the machete downwards, intent on driving it through Cole's skull. He would stop at nothing to win this twisted game, and he would do whatever it took to kill his adversaries.

Seeing the hammer fly out of his hands, he swore loudly, and then saw the downward thrust of the machete. Cole could have sworn that his life flashed before his eyes as he did the only thing he could think of, and that was spear-tackle Andrew and try to take him to the ground, aiming a flurry of punches at his face and neck...
Andrew dropped the machete in surprise as he went to the ground and breifly fought Cole on the ground until he was able to pry the other man off him. Then he dove for his machete and made another series of slashes at him. Without his machete, he didn't stand much of a chance against Cole and he knew it, but with it he could finally get back the upper hand.

Thinking to do the only thing he possibly could, Cole ran at the fallen machete and with a big kick, he booted the weapon out the gazebo opening. If Andrew had no knife, then hopefully he wouldn't put any more scars into his injured arm. Turning around, he aimed a roundhouse towards Andrew's head...

IC: Andrew ducked under the attack and punched at Cole's chest before standing again and launching three quick jabs. If he could land enough of a beating on Cole, he might stun the boy long enough to get his blade back. Hissing under his breath as his back and hand protested his actions, he was merely trying to hold on.

Taking two of the jabs, Cole somehow managed to grab Andrew's hand on the third one, and twisted it as far back as it would go. He remembered that he had injured the other boy's ankle earlier on, and hopefully he could take advantage of it now, as he launched a downward kick at the injured ankle...

Xian felt a bit proud of herself, as her kick momentarily stopped the strange boy. But, that moment seemed to have gone and went, as Cole seemed to be in trouble, and this boy unstoppable.
As the two traded blows back and forth, Xian held tightly onto her corkscrew. She crouched, and when the boy dove on Cole, he was vulnerable. Leaping forward, Xian drove the corkscrew done with all of her might, intent on burying it up to the hilt in the back of this monster.

Andrew shouted in pain as the corkscrew buried itself in the small of his back. It was an incredibly painful injury, doubly so since it went into the area Cole hit with his hammer. Bleeding from the stab, Andrew tried his hardest to pull it out, eventually doing so. It had barely missed his spine, but he couldn't contain another hiss of great pain as it came out and a practical river of blood started to flow. It was a near fatal injury, but only near.
"Damn you." Andrew decided to try to stab at Xian with the bloody corkscrew, as he would be vulnerale to attack if he turned his back to get his machete. He knew he could not win the game at this rate, but maybe he could save his life just a bit longer.

Tumbling head over heels out of the gazebo, Cole took a second to regain his bearings as he landed on the grass outside. This was not where he needed to be. As he pulled himself to his feet with great difficulty, he saw the machete on the ground that he had kicked out of the gazebo moments before. That might come in handy. Scooping up the machete, he jumped back into the gazebo and aimed a slash at the neck of Andrew.
Andrew aborted his attack on Xian to block the machete that had once been his. "It would be quite ironic to kill me with my own weapon, but that is an irony that won't happen!" Andrew then used the corkscrew to wrest the machete out of Cole's hands, and picked it up. Now he had two of the three weapons and the upper hand. He did find it strange that the sledgehammer was nowhere to be seen though.

Cole couldn't help but think to himself, "this asshole won't stay down", but now that he had retained his machete, he figured that it would be in his and Xian's best interests to find his sledgehammer, and quickly. Looking around, Cole saw the hammer balanced precariously on the edge of the gazebo entrance. Backpedalling, he reached back and scooped it up, realizing that his arm was really starting to throb at the same time. He looked at Xian, and realized that as the one with the weapon, he would have to attack first, and hope that she could score some form of dehabilitating hit with her natural weapons - her fists and feet. As such, Cole carefully swung the hammer at Andrew, swinging in an upward crescent motion...
Andrew, like before, sidestepped to avoid the blow, and stabbed with both machete and corkscrew, one to the head, the other to the gut. His blood continued to pour out, and the adrenaline only increased the pace of it.
