Through the daze, he heard voices, but they came at him like echoes, so he still wasn't entirely sure what was said. Rajni said something about...drinks? He really needed a drink right now, a drink of water for his goddamn headache. Galahad said something about going, or it could have been calling Rajni a hoe, or he could have been talking about the snow. Tiny, however, the intent was perfectly readable regardless of what he actually said, because he started screaming at him like a toddler who'd just lot an online match.
Oliver hadn't expected his classmates to turn into sudden raging judgemental morons, but Tiny was fitting the bill already, screaming about how he deserved it and how he should man up. The urge to whip out his cock and prove just how man he was to Tiny subsided the moment the thought entered his mind, but what also entered his mind was the fact he could have sworn he heard however long it was ago, alongside his own name, Tiny's name on those announcements for having skewered a girl like a kebab.
There was obviously something worth exploring there, but through the timpani of pain and the wave of nausea fueling his stomach, he managed to retain enough coherence and speaking ability to shout something through it all to the retreating figure.
"WENT DOWN FIGHTING? SHE ATTACKED ME YOU STUPID CU-"
And that was when the second bomb hit, bigger than the last and spewing out of his mouth, but onto the sand this time rather than Oliver's own clothing. The moments of being unable to breathe only made the headache worse, but the moment he regained control of his esophagus he took in huge guttural breaths, before turning up to those who remained behind and vocalized something clearer, sans the slurring which defined his last full sentence.

Tiny Tiny'd, yelling at Ollie as if there was some kind of moral high ground to be had between killers. Hell, Rajni didn't know, maybe there was; maybe once you got into the exclusive cool kids murderclub you got access to a special scoreboard murderranking with a murdercant and therefore Tiny knew some things that they didn't.
Or, you know, Tiny was just a nob.
Rajni watched him with narrowed eyes as he finished up and then turned away, which was absolutely fine by her. She didn't want to have to deal with that particular brand of bullshit any longer than necessary, a figure here which amounted to exactly zero seconds. Morally, was that okay? He had killed Penny, did that not mean she kind of had a duty or something to do something about Tiny?
...Nah, fuck that. He could do whatever he wanted—well not like literally whatever but—dammit fucking. Whatever.
Galahad was speaking up and Rajni glanced to him. "Yeah. Sure," he seemed relieved to see the back of Tiny and Rajni was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt at this point. She doubted he was a good enough actor to play this kind of long con.
Unfortunately, the neat bubble of knowing what was going on slash what to do was completely ruined by Ollie deciding to join the fun. For someone who apparently had a concussion he was being loud as fuck. It was getting irritating as anything and to be honest her level of tolerance to him was basically negative on account of y'know, unless she was missing out on some intriguing murderclub stat bullshit, he'd still fucking killed Anvi.

You know, for what had supposed to have been just two groups going their separate ways, this had all become kinda… rowdy. Specially since one person had been moody and broody and quiet, and another had been, well, unconscious, up until now. Rajni being Rajni was the only thing that 100% scanned in Galahad’s mind.
He took a few hasty steps closer to Rajni as Oliver started yelling again, frantically grabbing Michael on his way. Just in time, too, considering the other boy threw up again moments later, directly on the spot the axe had just been. He could feel his own bile rising in his throat at the sight and sound, and worst of all the smell, so he turned away, looking over at the now-distant figure that was Tiny Sterling.
He didn’t understand what Tiny was doing, honestly. The murder of Penny in the churchyard, taking Galahad hostage, then letting him go on the beach after looking like the world had beaten him down to a pulp, then wandering off himself, but not before verbally lacerating Ollie on his way out… none of that seemed to have any rhyme or reason to it. It didn’t make sense. He guessed nothing had to anymore; barely anything made sense with their situation already, so why not go completely fucking nusto?
Still. It was nice to actually know what the fuck was going on, at any given time.
Like, for instance, knowing exactly what Rajni’s weapon was. He jumped back again as she fired it, giving a yelp of alarm, ready to round on her for shooting a barely-conscious guy in cold blood, before he saw the net wrapped around Oliver’s body, and the outrage died on his lips.
He looked between the two of them, concern creasing his face. It would, honestly, have been nicer to know that the gun was just a net gun beforehand. Would’ve calmed his nerves down a whole bunch when everything had been tense and on a knife’s edge, but now that he was planning on pairing up with Rajni, what in the way of defense did they actually have? A minor inconvenience, and an axe he could still just about wield. Great. Cool. When the people with rifles and pistols and murderous intent came after them, they’d really be scared by that.
“So, um…”
Galahad scratched the back of his neck, speaking in a hushed voice, shooting a glance at Ollie’s tangled form, then looking back at Rajni.
“What, uh, what now? I know he’s killed somebody, and he’s all, kinda, like…”
He gave a wave of his hand towards the other boy, at his loud words and vomit on the ground and… everything.
“... Y’know. But we can’t just leave him here by himself, right?”

That probably wasn't super mature or whatever but Ollie was being an annoying shit and probably deserved getting netted bare minimum for aforementioned being-a-shit action. Rajni figured she could be self-indulgent this once and maybe she could call it a little bit of payback for Anvi but if she was being completely real here it was mostly a spur of the moment thing because she felt like it.
But hey, a lot of the reason she felt like it was the murder, so swings and roundabouts.
Galahad did have a point though that this put them in the position of there being an unconscious Ollie on the floor and vulnerable to basically anyone and anything but

Whether she liked it or not and because she wasn't a headcase she didn't like it, people were killing each other at a concerning clip, concerning here meaning 'more than literally not at all'. That meant Rajni had to dedicate some thinking to what was actually going on beyond just flipping her lid over the fucking helicopter (okay she wasn't entirely over that to be fair, but it wasn't the point just now). Like ten people had killed each other, and as great as it would be to chalk it up to accidents and flukes or bad luck, ten people didn't Mr. Bean their way into all fucking dying. There were killers out there, killers like Tiny and Ollie, and that meant thinking about what it was she was doing.
So that was Ollie down on the ground there and fuck, punitive justice did not sound like a fun and exciting new area for Rajni to get involved in, but at the same time, how much of a shit did she really give? Really, really?
Rajni didn't look up from him for a good few seconds, and by the time she did, the smile was long gone.
"Honestly, Gads? Yes we can. Yes, we totally can. I literally can't think of a reason why he deserves the slightest bit of respect. He's a murderer. Fuck him. Let him lie here. Maybe he'll wake up and realise how shit he is."
She nearly, very nearly, punctuated the words by taking a kick at him. Instead she just nudged him with a foot.
"Far as I'm concerned, what happens, happens. I'm not helping him. You can do what you want, I'm not your dad." Rajni shrugged. "But if you want to come with, do it quick," she gave Ollie one final look, then turned her head up decisively and dismissively. "Later, fam."

Galahad stared down at the sand as Rajni said, well… Rajni things. Totally honest, completely blunt, and not taking any shit whatsoever. And it all made him feel kinda sick to his stomach. Not at her, not towards her stance and opinions of Oliver. But because she was right, he had killed, and here he was, trying to take care of and look after somebody who could be a cold-blooded murderer. It was harder to feel as much hatred towards him, he supposed, because he’d never been as close to Anvi as he knew Rajni had been, but that was barely an excuse. If anything, it made him feel even sicker.
If it had been…. Somebody he was close to, listed as Oliver’s victim on the announcement, he probably wouldn’t be reacting the same way.
Even then, he still wasn’t sure if he could hate them. He wasn’t sure how to feel about anybody other than confusion and frequent sorrow. Less than 5 days ago, they’d all been sitting through classes, waiting for the clock hands to crawl forwards and for the bell to ring so they could all escape for lunch. Now, even though the clock was running at double speed, and they were all miles away from home, he still couldn’t think of any of his classmates as anything other than just that; classmates.
Galahad was so preoccupied with his head practically buried in the sand, that by the time he realised Rajni had walked off, she had almost left the beach entirely. He gave a startled yelp, hurriedly lifting Michael up higher to hold it in both hands. He took a glance at Oliver’s once-more unconscious form, like a marlin caught by a trawler, and instantly regretted doing so. He took a deep sigh, then dropped Michael again, hastily unzipping his bag and foraging around inside of it.
“God, Freya’d rip me to shreds if she saw me doing this…”
He knelt down next to Oliver, holding his breath to avoid inhaling the stench of slowly drying sick, and lightly slapped the boy’s cheek, placing a water bottle next to him.
“Doesn’t feel right without her doing so…”
Galahad sighed again as he stood up, grabbing the handle of his fire axe again, palms slick with sweat almost making it slip out of his hand. He zipped his bag back up, made sure Michael was secure in his grasp, then turned and started power-walking towards Rajni.
“H-Hey! Rajni! Hold up!”
