Lighthouse Ambush
Hawley found himself loudly cursing, again, as another explosion stopped him in his movements. His free arm flying up to cover his face as he stepped back somewhat, turning two-toned eyes up he glanced at the window they seemed to be coming from.

Adam had been silently making his way around the other side of the lighthouse, when a loud explosion seemed to sound on the other side of the building. Stopping, Adam tried to figure out what it could be.

OOC: Guys, Molotov Coktails don't explode. When the glass breaks, the gas goes through the area, and when it touches the burning rag, the immediate area bursts into flames, making th eMolotov an effective incendiary weapon.

(( ooc: Yeah, but I really don't think Hawley's checking this out. >> You know, with the whole being attacked thing. And because of the way that a MC works, someone who doesn't know how they work (like my character) besides without the sound of an explosion. The Molotov Jacob had been about to throw exploded in his hand when the shotgun blast hit it, covering his left arm in a horrible burn. Realizing now was the time to retreat, he told Uriel to meet him at the river and went through the lighthouse, climbing out one of the broken windows and knocking Alan out of the way. There was nothing he could do but flee for now.

Smirking to himself, Hawley dropped his aim and made his way back to the front of the lighthouse. "Bloody hell..." He said sourly as he took note of the knocked out Alan, making his over to the other boy he dropped into a crouched position. Hitting him lightly on his cheek that wasn't on the side with the slash.

"Damn, that guy had one hell of a punch. Y'know, I think that was that Jacob kid I was talking about back at the clinic." Alan said, getting to his feet with a breif struggle.

Adam looked at the cut on Alan's face and winced. It looked deep, it looked bloody, and most of all, it made Alan look more menacing. Adam couldn't help but grin a little. As compared to Hawley with his bloody knee (and, Adam noticed, his burnt arm), and Alan with his sliced-up face, Adam looked relatively normal and unscathed in his blue jeans and Leafs jersey.
