Andrew had been about to raise the target leg to kick off of Cole and free his weapon, so Cole's kick slammed into his shin. Emitting a low roar of pain, Andrew punched at Cole with his left hand while freeing his blade and slicing at Cole's fingers with his right.

[Cactus]

Andrew's punch hit Cole directly in the face, which sent him staggering back, missing the slash altogether. As he felt the blood pouring into his mouth, he figured that the best thing to do would be to use it to his advantage - as such, he spit the blood at Andrew, swinging his sledgehammer at the same time towards the kid's head...

Andrew closed his eyes as the blood hit them and raised his machete to stop the hammer from crushing his skull.
"Is that all you've got?" he asked, kicking Cole away, pushing the hammer off his machete, and thrusting at Cole's heart. He was breathing heavily and in pain, but he'd live as long as he kept that sledgehammer from making contact with his flesh.
Damn, that was close. Can't get sloppy.

[Cactus]

Not feeling like getting skewered, Cole threw himself backwards, and narrowly out of the reach of the blade. Seeing Andrew's off-balance thrust hit air, he kicked at the hand that held the blade, hoping to disoldge it from the other boy's hand.

Andrew smirked at his opponent's folly.
"Check." with that, he raised his blade and brought it down in a semi-circular slash/parry any fencer would recognise.
"I'd advise against such blunders if you wish to live."

[Cactus]

Rolling over to the other side of the gazebo, Cole felt the slash hit him in the ass.

Damnit...this bastard won't go down...

Getting to his feet, he looked at the cocky boy with a look of disgust. Raising his sledgehammer, he spit blood at Andrew's feet.

"Want to live? But aren't you the one who keeps telling me that I'm going to die? Make up your fucking mind..."

Seeing that Andrew was up against the edge of the gazebo, Cole had an idea. Shaking off the marijuana haze again, Cole ran at Andrew, and jumped, high enough to clear the edge of the gazebo and land outside, but also high enough that he would inevitably catch Andrew's head and upper body and take him along with him...

Andrew saw Cole's trick and smiled. Instead of delivering a painful upward stab at him, Andrew did the simplest thing in the world: he ducked under Cole and smiled as he went off the edge.
Clever. Just a bit faster and that would've gotten me. Shit, this fighting stuff is harder than I thought.

[Cactus]

Cole was undoubtedly fairly surprised as he didn't catch anything on his way over the gazebo edge, but regained his bearings soon enough after that his landing was nowhere near as painful as it might have been. Spinning on the grass outside of the gazebo, he ran up to the edge of it that he remembered Andrew to be on, and as hard as he could, swung into the side of the wooden shelter. He hoped that by shattering the side of the building, he would send wooden shrapnel into Andrew, and hurt him even more.

Andrew almost laughed as a hole appeared in the gazebo wall (a few splinters fell off, but didn't go projectile). The sledgehammer appeared to be stuck, as well. For the time, Andrew ignored the cheerleader behind him and deliberated whether to go after Cole or not.

[Cactus]

Cole scowled as he tried to yank the sledgehammer from the gazebo.

"Fuck..."

His mind then fluttered over to Xian, still hanging from the ceiling.

"Oh...shiit..." Cole couldn't help but feel an obligation to Xian, to help her, as she had been nice to him.

Cole finally worked the sledgehammer loose, and waited.

"He'll go later. There are easier fish to catch." Andrew muttered as he turned to the hanging Xian (who's skirt was nearly over her head for some reason, but that wasn't exactly important.) and raised his machete while looking her over. He decided to go for the clean gutting manuver, stab at the hips, drag up (down, in this case), and instant disembowelment. Having decided his attack, he advanced menacingly towards the defenseless cheerleader.
I don't have anything against her, I'm just doin' what I have to do. It'll be gross, but it's not like it'll hurt any if I do it right. At least I think...

Peering through the hole from his sledgehammer, Cole saw Andrew turn to Xian.

Shit, she's probably stuck...

He quietly crawled over to the entrance to the gazebo, and quickly slipping off his shoes, as not to make as much noise, he crept into the Gazebo, and swung his sledgehammer as hard as he could at the turned back of the other boy...

As he was about to stab Xian, Andrew felt what seemed to be a large weight slam into the small of his back. The breath knocked out of him, Andrew dropped to the ground after the sledgehammer hit caught him off guard. he flipped over and slashed at Cole again, aware that his back was in pain.
"Fuck, I should've been more careful." he muttered, too low for any other than himself to hear him. If he kept making those kinds of mistakes, he'd die. He knew it, and he didn't doubt Cole knew it.
Idiot! You'll lose if you act this sloppily! he mentally chastised himself. He knew he was right, if he screwed up he'd lose. And if he lost he'd end up just as dead as the kids from Shaker and Aberthol.

[Cactus]

As he felt the blade cut into his thigh, Cole wondered how badly he was bleeding. He'd have to take a look at these various wounds a little later on. Because of either the adrenaline or the marijuana, or both, however, he didn't feel a thing. This helped and didn't slow him as he swung again at Andrew, this time towards his chest.

OOC: I'm assuming it was a horisontal swing?
IC: Andrew stepped back to avoid the swing at his chest and took another stab at Cole, being sure to add on a slash to the hands.
If I can take out his hands, I can win. But how is he doing so well when he was smoking so much marijuana when I was watching them? This guy's starting to scare me.
