So, it was his gun that was getting pointed in Clara's face earlier... interesting. Did that mean that the two that robbed her had another gun on them that she didn't know about? How else could she have robbed him if he had a gun too? Why did she take his gun and not his bag? Moreover, why did she take Clara's bag and not her gun?

She'd have to press him for more info the next time they stopped, though she was getting the increasingly strong impression that maybe that bitch was just crazy, and trying to understand her actions was a futile exercise. For now, however, her partner was already heading out. The guy seemed more than a little fragile, to be perfectly honest - not exactly the kind of person she would have chosen to hang around back home. Hopefully this wasn't about to turn into one of those buddy cop movies where the two of them spent more time arguing with each other than chasing down the target.

As he began to get farther from her position, she quickly stepped over to the the shattered body on the ground, trying to keep her eyes off of its face - or at least, what had been his face. She had seen people die in movies before, but, well...

No, that was too cliche. Obviously deaths in movies looked different from real life - there were censorship boards and ratings agencies and all that shit to make them tone things down. She wrinkled her nose as she bent down, though whether it was out of disgust at the violent scene before her or at her own naivety, she really couldn't tell, neither did she feel like spending any more time wondering about that than she had to. With a quick motion, her hand shot out and grabbed the bag that her companion had been rifling through. There still seemed to be stuff in here, and since she no longer had one, it wouldn't hurt to take this one.

It felt a little bit like stealing, but... it wasn't like that guy was going to be needing it anymore - not wherever he was going. Gritting her teeth, she turned and began to follow Alex, the O09 bag slung over her shoulder.
