Legoland Empire

Minutes before Announcement 6

North of the residential district is a large building containing all of the cargo from the logging industry as well as general supplies. In this building there is a series of red and blue cargo boxes that form a giant maze, in turn providing some amount of decent cover. All the boxes are locked shut with large padlocks, making them impossible to open.

((Ma'afu Tuigamala continues from Where Was My Brain?))

No.

No, no, NO.

Maf's hands clenched down on the edge of the desk he was leaning against as he remembered those words.

"Tiffany Baker looked at Jason Harris wrong, which was the last mistake she'll ever make."

Things were out of control.

"We next had a pair of double kills, with Liam Brooks accounting for Raine Schwarz and Ridley Landon. Aren't couple who do everything together just the sweetest?"

Those second words did nothing to obscure the shock of realising how far upon them SOTF really was. When Danya said that his best friends would turn on him, or at least that was the bare basics of every piece of filth that came out of his mouth. It wasn't supposed to be speaking to him. It wasn't supposed to be his friends that were killing people. They weren't meant for him and Nathan, or Jason, or Brook. Those words were only meant for everyone else.
Not him.

At least that's what he'd been telling himself ever since the two of them stopped here. A small office at the back of a giant warehouse they'd scarpered to after they couldn't go to town anymore. Chair under the door. Maf wanted to keep searching out there, but the facts were facts. They promised to meet back at a place that they couldn't get to now, so keeping hidden until then was the best option. A safe option. It wasn't a bad office. Desk, two chairs. Filing cabinet with shipping info and other stuff. Otherwise, empty. There was a tiny window that looked out onto the labyrinth of shipping containers, but nothing else.

It was as though Nathan and Maf were the only things keeping their group intact. It had only been 3 days since the group separated, and everything had already gone to hell. Jason killed Tiffany, of all people, that girl Brook was fawning over. And if Jason and Brook were travelling together, then...Brook must have seen it. Brook killed another two people after that. Death. More death. Death everywhere. They'd already found a body riddled with bullets, and that just had to be enough. No one else was dead here.

No one else to mourn.

At least not until sunrise. Which...was only a few minutes away, come to think of it.

Every word out of Danya's mouth filled him with dread. There was no telling who was behind each name, who would come next. Right after Clio Gabriella could be Jennifer. On the same vein, he'd almost broken down when he heard a Jennifer only yesterday. But it was Romita. It didn't even think of softening the blow. Right after that Jimmy Brennan could be OC. Right after Reiko could be Teo. Endless possibilities. It was the worst time of day.

Maf suspected he was bowing the metal desk out of shape under his weight. Fleeting suspicion. Not much ground. Why did it even matter anyway...

Announcements were coming soon. Maf sat back down in his chair, bag already hung haphazardly on the chair frame a while ago, head hung.

((Nathan Choultard continued from Where Was My Brain?))

Nathan had waited with Maf at the town. He had waited for the moment for when Jason and Brook would show up and then they would be okay. Well, as okay as one could be. More importantly they would be back to lead the day. And that was when the fourth announcement came.

When he first heard the announcement. Nathan had been unsure as to how to react to this. At first, he thought it was some error, some typo or something that would suggest that it wasn't Jason. Jason a killer? That didn't make any sense. He was a harmless guy. A friend that you could rely on to help you out. There was no way that he could be some murderer. And it was Tiffany Baker too. She was Brook's girlfriend! She was as harmless as he was! Self defense didn't make any sense to him.

But he still waited for them.

As the day passed, Jason and Brook had still not shown up. What if it had been an accident? Like, he had accidentally pulled the trigger while waving his gun around. Or that he accidentally had the safety off or something? It was plausible at least...wasn't it?

Evening fell, and Maf and Nathan were still alone, shacked up in a nameless building. It was then that Nathan started to worry, he had faith in Jason for sure. But now anything could happen. They were supposed to meet here tonight. It was part of the game plan. But now, there was no telling what they were supposed to do.

The two of them had agreed that at nightfall, they would move for the lighthouse, like what was originally planned. There had to be an explanation for it all, and Nathan trusted Jason to make it over there, with Brook in tow.

Nathan's sleep was restless last night. His thoughts lingering on what he had heard. Hoping to god that it was either a lie or an accident. Let it not be in cold blood. He didn't want it to be true.

When he awoke the next day. He was greeted with another blow to his mind. Brook was being mentioned on the loudspeaker. He had killed people...two people to be exact...

He never got time to react to it: however, as his collar started to beep. Danya had called this place a danger zone. There was no time to comment about the death. They had to run away.

When they cleared the area, they moved due south. And that was when Nathan started to think about what had happened.

Thankfully, Jason was not dead, but now both of their missing cadre had killed people. Where was he supposed to go now? He wanted to justify two more murders, but now it was too hard to condone. They were not going to be safe if they went to the lighthouse. So it was decided that they would go to the warehouse. Bunker up, and hopefully find a solution. Find a plan. Hopefully a plan that Nathan didn't have to think up.

His success with plans had caused the break up of their group, and coincidently, lead to the deaths of three people...

It was nightfall when they did reach the warehouse, but this time, Nathan did not sleep. He paced back and forth. Trying to piece together something, anything to solve the reasoning as to why this had happened. All the answers though came back to him. He was the idiot that got this ball rolling. Now, it was unlikely to stop.

Maf was looking worse for where too. He had been shaken up badly by the events just as much as he had. Only he was waiting for something much worse. He nearly had a heart attack when he heard Jen's name, but the colour in his face returned when it was Romita who had died.

Nathan shook his head at the thought of cheering the fact that he was happy that someone with the same name was dead. It was a morbid line of thought...not that he wasn't doing it himself either...

The crackle of the speakers awoke him from his thoughts, turning his attention back to the sickening glee of Danya's voice.

Nathan's face curled downward and he ground his teeth when he heard it. Brook had done it again. He had killed yet another person.

And he was to blame.

Nathan kicked at the closest thing he had available and that was his open duffel bag.

"God fucking damn it!"

Trickling out of his bag and skidding across the floor was the pistol. The gun he had yet to touch. Nathan's feet shuffled towards it as if it was a relic in a museum that he shouldn't touch, but he moved closer to it reaching out to grab it. He gingerly looped his fingers around the grip and pulled it up to him.

The rubber grip felt firm in his hand, making it easier for him to cling onto it. He felt the naked metal bits chill his hands. It was so light, Nathan had never expected it to be so light.

Jason's name never appeared on the list. A small comfort to Nathan right now, but now fear was creeping into his bones. What were they supposed to do now?

What would Geoffrey do in this situation?

((Saul Fetteralf continued from Birdland))

As the dawn sun rose above the horizon, Saul was really starting to wonder if splitting up with Brendan had been the greatest of ideas. After the three of them had left the greens, he and Jojo had waited for the Australian to turn his back to them. As soon as that happened, they were off on their own, leaving him behind. The pair of them had their reasons for leaving Brendan, but as Saul reflected on their action, the more it felt that they'd virtually abandoned Brendan for him to die by himself.

'No, he had a gun. He can look out for himself,' Saul thought, trying to justify his actions. 'That's why we left him in the first place, it would've only been a matter of time before he turned on us... right?'

There'd be no way of telling if that would've happened anymore. The decision had already been made, it was in the past, so now he and Jojo were just going to have to cope with things on their own. And as for Brendan... unless they somehow encountered him again, they'd have to rely on the announcements to see what became of him. 'Huh, speaking of...' Saul thought, looking up to the brightening morning sky. A large building loomed ahead of them.

"Announcements will be on soon," Saul spoke to his travelling companion. More death and destruction was on the way. And he desperately prayed that his best friend's name didn't come up, as either a victim or a murderer. 'Garry... where are you? Please still be alive.'

CRACKLE

'Fuck... here we go.' Saul stopped and made hardly a sound as Danya's voice filled the air. Name followed name, thankfully no one Saul knew had bitten the dust. At least that was the case until the terrorist reached a certain point in the broadcast.

"Bill Davis showed Logan Reynolds how not to go about killing players, then gave Marion Summers a quick math lesson before Rhory Anne Broderick did for Davis as well."

'Bill... Logan... those names sound fami-oh... oh fuck me.' Bill Davis and Logan Reynolds. The two people who he'd met at the tower, the former of whom had even offered him a cigarette. And now both were gone. And to cap things off, the final fatality had been Jessie, captain of the girl's hockey team and someone Saul had known quite well. 'Good god...'

Saul sat on the ground, trembling slightly at hearing the news that three people he'd interacted with had all died, passed on, shuffled off this mortal coil. After taking a while for the shock to leave his system, Saul get back to his feet and pressed on with Jojo towards the building in the distance. There were some bushes in the way, so Saul passed through them. And lying on the other side...

"AHH! Oh my God!" Saul screamed and leaped back at the sight which greeted him.

It was Marco 'The Wall' Stonecastle, or what was left of him. The hockey player was lying stone dead on the floor with his lower body pockmarked by bullet holes, and his face had been kicked in. Blood stained face, his clothes and the ground where he lay. "F-fuc-" Saul couldn't finish his sentence, bending over and vomiting into the bush. It may not have been the first corpse he'd seen, but it was the first one of somebody he'd known.

((Felicia Carmichael continued from In theory, this should be easy))

The ever-familiar announcements blared onward, though Felicia walked through the condescending words with her head tucked down. For the first time all week, easily the worst week of her life, she felt like she had a bit of strength. There were people on this island she had to find, and when she found each of them, she had vastly different things in store for them. She'd be in heaven if she ever managed to find Rosa. Of course... if she found Kimberly, then there would be hell to pay.

Unfortunately, she hadn't managed to find either of her goals on her way to nowhere in particular. At this rate, Kimberly could be anywhere at all, and Rosa had managed to stay pretty much invisible on this island. The more Felicia thought of Rosa, though, the more she began to think about the person that she was romantically involved with beforehand: Quincy Jones.

Before she began blocking out the announcements in their entirety, she would catch the occasional name that her ears intuitively picked up. Quincy Jones was on those announcements, but not as somebody who had died. This news was greeted by a calloused heart which had met with far too many tragedies, and thus its flesh was too scarred to truly be sensitive to what she heard. What was Quincy doing? She had always avoided him ever since prom, and that wasn't all that long ago... could he still be looking for her? She shuddered to think what might happen if she found Quincy before she found Rosa. If there was nothing to fear from him, there was always the stupid decisions she, herself, may make.

The direction she had picked from the docks to walk in had taken her to a large building that was rather bland in appearance, and probably in purpose. Far more interesting than such a boring example of architecture was the boy puking his guts out near a body. There was some distance between the boy and herself, and Felicia felt no particular need to close the distance. He wasn't a threat, but she didn't feel like finding out just what had made him puke. Anything of interest would likely be in the building itself, which she made a beeline for.

Standing just beside the door to the building with her gun safely tucked inside her sweater pocket and her trusty dufflebag hanging over her shoulder, Felicia gingerly eased the door open and stepped inside.

"H-Hello? Just Felicia Carmichael, present and totally trying to make sure I don't get shot in the face..."

((Joss Joiner continued from Birdland))

Jojo continued his walk with Saul, trying to contemplate how he was actually going to be able to uphold his new vow to protect others as Saul pre-emptively stated the return of the announcements. Shortly after that, that familiar crackle proved Saul correct.

So many more people have died, I can't believe that some of their murderers keep going and killing our fellow classmates. Hopefully I'll be able to stop one of them if I ever meet them here. How strange it is to think about fighting someone you walked by in the halls or asked for a pencil. Still, Clio's death proved that even the killers can be killed so nothing is impossible here. Aside from finding a nice spot to change your clothes or something without showing it off to the-

"AHH! Oh my God!"

Jojo roused from his musings and ran towards the bush Saul had just passed through to see him freaking over the corpse of one of the jocks. A hockey player? Eh, hard to remember who's who without a jersey, not to mention he's not in too good of a shape now-

His thought process was cut short by Saul's involuntary heaving into a bush. Jojo felt like he was about to follow suit but held it back and tried his best to talk Saul down..

"Well, I can tell you're not ok, but is there anything I can do? I know its hard to see one of our classmates like this but we can't let it get to us. We still have others to find. Still, if you need it we can rest a moment, say a prayer, but please don't do that again or else I might join you."

As they ended, yet again, Maf felt a wave of relief wash over him. It was really bitterly mixed with a twinge of guilt, however. He shouldn't be happy that all these people who weren't his friends were dead. He knew most of these people. Kevin, they were teammates. That Maxwell Lombardi got him on his list again, kill number he didn't even know anymore. He was just going around killing, and...what's worse, Brook happened again. He killed some kid, some guy who played guitar at school, Colin.

Nathan didn't take it well. Half the group had just started to kill, and...he was just randomly guessing right the heck out of nowhere here, but Nathan must not have been taking this well at all. Maf turned the chair around just fast enough to see him send the bag flying across the floor, his own gun skidded and skipped lightly before stopping.

It was...Maf really didn't know what the right word for this whole situation was, but...it was like pure blind fate gave the four of them those guns, and now part of him really wished that Jason and Brook lacked such necessities. Brook getting a gun is what gave that...woman, Leila, the upper hand back in the caves. Jason getting a gun ruined any chances of a guilt and incident free meet up, and on the other hand, Nathan and Maf hadn't even thought of using them yet. The closest Maf had been to taking up arms was back when Nick killed the guy they'd only just met in the cave, and even then he was so conflicted about even thinking of killing him that he just chickened out.

As Nathan got his bearings, Maf glanced out the window, that tiny tiny window. The warehouse was almost bare. He could have sworn he saw a girl entering one of the offices on the other side of the building (and she looked like she wasn't afraid, too. She could have been very dangerous, good thing their door was barred), and there seemed to be noises echoing in from outside. Yelling, screaming, not feminine enough to be Brook or Jennifer. So there were other people around now, not much of a surprise.

"There's a lot of people waltzing around out there, Nathan. We'll stay put for now. There's no point in putting ourselves in danger unless it means something." Maf said, still looking at each end of his field of vision for someone he recognised. If Jason really was looking for them, then...chances are here is where he'd look, once he abandoned searching the lighthouse for all it was worth.

And they'd be ready for him. They'd get the whole story.

((Jason Harris continued from But That Was Yesterday... ))

Jason skirted the outside of the building. He had initially headed towards the Lighthouse like the backup plan had dictated but took pause when he spotted Reiko in the vicinity. Reiko, one of the top killers on the island, well at least according to Jason's notes anyway. He considered briefly trying to take her on but decided against it. Too many variables. He still had a quick look at the lighthouse, checking the area for the prearranged signal that he gave Nathan to mark. He didn't find anything, the two never made it there. Still neither of his friends names were in the announcements so that meant they were still alive. He didn't investigate further. If Nathan and Maf were at the lighthouse they would of moved on, they were both smart enough to do that. So Jason had paused for a second to figure out where they might of moved. As far as nice defensible locations went, the Warehouse was his next guess so that's where Jason went.

His stomach grumbled again as he listened quietly to the area. He'd already spotted Jojo and Saul. The two were standing next to the bushes just near the rear entrance to the building making far too much noise for Jason's liking. The body they were puking over held no interest to Jason just yet. The pack might have food though, which he could definately go for but his brain checked him once again. He probably should avoid them for now. Moving carefully he slipped through the side entrance where Felicia had just entered and paused when he saw the girl.

Shit.

He had hoped he would find Nath and Maf simply sitting there. What a stupid idea. Still, Jason held out some hope that the two would be around. His left hand went to his gun tentatively and hovered over the pistol tucked in to his shorts. Moving quickly he unzipped his backpack, pulling out a small group of twigs he had gathered for just this occasion, scattering them just outside the door he then carefully closed it. He would hear the snapping if anyone was about to open the portal. Stepping to one side so as to dive in to the nearby office if things got dicey Jason called out to Felicia, trying to keep his voice audible but low. Who knew who else was around here.

"Hey Felicia, probably not the smartest was of doing that." He paused for a second, considering his next words. "You don't have any food left do you?"

Despite everything he had told himself about taking out anyone in his way Jason was still shocked from his accidental kill. He wasn't going to make the same mistake again. Still, his hand stayed near his pistol. If things went south he wasn't going to hesitate.

Nathan nearly fumbled his pistol when he heard the shouting noise. It had helped remedy the whirling of his mind and it snapped him back at attention. After he composed himself, his grip around his gun relaxed.

He heard a muffled sound in the distance, it sounded like someone was coughing up a lung, or worse. His body shuddered at the sound, but he dare not look in the window of the small office. Not yet at least.

More voices began to chorus and chime in from beyon where he and Maf now stood. His gaze turned towards the doorway. His breathing began to speed up again. They were not alone now. They were hidden, but for how long...

He couldn't remembeer what it was when you felt like you had seen some situation like this before. Deja vu? It was sorta like that. A grim version of it in which he had lived it before just a few days before.

Nathan had prefered not to live through that experience in the mine again. He brushed the hair out of his face and walked closer to the door.

"Alright dude," he whispered, "Keep yourself quiet and-"

"You don't have any food left do you?"

Nathan froze. He recognized that voice. Lord knows if he didn't he would not be able to show his face. Even if he wanted to.

It was the voice of Jason Harris. Their friend, their friend that had killed someone. The friend that Nathan was responsible for causing the murder.

He squeezed his eyes shut and slid down the office wall. He looked up to Maf and mouthed the words to him.

"Jason Harris..."

He kept his ears open for Brook's voice, but there was nothing yet. No sign of anything yet, he kept his mind on alert though. They were his friends.

But they had killed people. He needed more information.

"What do we do dude?" Nathan whispered. His gun grew tight in his hand again.

He didn't want to use it...

Saul coughed, spluttered and spat to get rid of the vile taste filling his mouth after he finished vomiting. The back of his throat burned and his abdomen ached from the sudden contractions. He stood up straight, wiping gastric juices from his mouth with the back of his hand and turned to face Joss.

"I-I'll be fine, I'm okay" Saul replied, coughing again and breathing in deeply. "It's just... I knew him, he was a friend of Garry's, someone I spoke to regularly..." Saul looked down sadly at Marco's broken face, feeling his face go ashen once more at the sight. 'And now I'll never speak to him again.'

"And... I'll try not to throw up again. Dunno how much I can stop myself, but I'll try," Saul added on. "Let's just go, I don't want to be around here anymore," he said, slowly walking towards the corner of the huge building. He peeked around the side, seeing the coast clear with no one in sight. "No one's around, looks pretty safe to me," he spoke, readjusting the daypack on his shoulder and approached the side entrance to the warehouse.

He noticed the twigs scattered around the door too late, only seeing them the moment his foot came down on them. A series of snapping noises filled the air, Saul instantly recoiling from the sudden sound. 'Oh... oh you idiot, Saul,' he berated himself for failing to spot the sticks earlier. He bent down and picked up one of the broken twigs, glancing down at the small pile. 'Strange. There's no way they just dropped here out of nowhere, someone must've put these here. Why would they... oh.'

"I think someone might be inside the building," Saul said, standing back up and backing up away from the door. "I think we may have alerted them as well."

"EEK!"

Felicia cursed the ridiculously girly noise almost as soon as she made it, forced to deal with its echo rebounding off of the spacious walls of the warehouse. Because, you know, she couldn't deal with the shrill, annoying cry just once... she had to deal with it several times over. Her utterance happened to be perfectly synchronized with a leap into the air, limited only by her lackluster lower body strength. There might have also been a little heart stoppage somewhere in the air too, but Felicia Carmichael was still alive when her feet hit the ground. Yep, that was always a good sign. That being said, she just couldn't be sure what to make of the situation when she turned around and saw Jason Harris looking at her.

"J-Jason, you asshole!", Felicia said, finding it hard not to pant like a damn dog from the nasty shock she had been given. Her own hand itched as she remembered that there was a gun in her sweater-pouch pocket, but she admonished herself for even thinking like that. You don't point a gun at your friends from school, and especially not the ones with sexy Australian accents. It was just a rule, a thing that Felicia knew, as much as it might have flown directly in the face with logic. And yet, as sexy or as Aussie as the boy may have been, something about his attitude really seemed off to her.

Gee, thanks Mr. Harris, for pointing out all the wonderful flaws in how I enter a goddamn building, warning people that I'm NOT a terrible killer trying to flay them alive or cap their asses. "Heh, yeah, I know it might not be the smartest, but... um... it's the right thing to do, you know?" She smiled nervously, suddenly having the strangest urge to scratch her left ear. And what the fuck is up with you asking me if I have food? Maybe I need all of this food, Jason! But yeah, thanks for the very selfless thoughts! "I, eh, have some crackers... maybe I can share some with ya? But a girl's gotta eat to keep up her strength, you know?"

Felicia set about to scratching that ear of hers with another bout of laughter, though it wasn't as forced. What was she all worried about? It was just Jason Harris and, while creepy kids like Sebastian might've been turning into raving loonies these days, the more suave kids should've been keeping their cool.

... In retrospect, maybe my habit of no longer listening to the announccements isn't exactly beneficial.

Jojo felt a bit bad after Saul spoke about the boy lying in front of them. Great job Jojo, belittle the importance of your former classmates to your living ones. He followed behind Saul to the side entrance of the warehouse and only could open his mouth about to warn him of the twigs when the foot went down on them. The half-open mouth was briefly kept that way in shock at the fact that now everyone inside would know they're coming.

He huddled against the side of the building as Saul realized that it was a trap and backed away from them. "Quick get away from the door! They might have a gun trained it and you just gave the signal! Lets wait out here and hope someone else draws their attention for now." I really hope this doesn't end up with Saul getting pumped full of lead, I can't lose someone else from that. Not again.

*crack*

Jason jerked slightly as he heard the sound of the twigs just outside the door snap. He whipped himself to one side without hesitation and took up position to the left of the door behind a small stack of crates. It was a decent position to cover the door but he could easily be ambushed from behind. Jason made the assumption that if anyone was sneaking around they would of taken out Felicia already. Glancing back at Felicia Jason creased his brow in a "what the fuck are you doing?" expression.

The girl was usually a little bit more tomboyish and Jason had never heard Felicia shriek like that before, hell she was usually the one yelling and making the boys cringe. She was always more 'one of the guys' more than anything, although they didn't really hang out in the same circles. None of that mattered now however and Jason after frantically making a wave to tell Felicia to take cover turned his attention back to the door. If anyone outside was hostile they were going to get a nasty surprise. He briefly considered calling out but decided against it. If Felicia didn't make a move soon, she'd be the one having to deal with whoever was out there. He hoped it was Saul and Jojo. The two looked like they couldn't stomach the game and he didn't recall either of the two on the announcements. Still, he had to be careful.

The door began to creak open slowly and Jason slowly pulled the pistol from his waist, his finger now tense on the trigger.

I did close the door behind me didn't I? It's not just swinging open right? Play it smart Harris, you're vulnerable until you find Nath and Maf. God damn it, where are they?

((And I'm back))

He heard it. Maf did too. That voice, that accent, that...Jason.

There was nothing to mistake here.

And now, here it was. What did they do? Urges and instincts told him to go out there and confront him, with their guns clenched in their hands and focused faces and a demand for answers in a place where you weren't likely to get them. On the other hand, who was to say that Jason was alone? That voice...it was only a voice, it didn't have a GPS built into it, or sonar, it just said to those who couldn't see him "Jason Harris is here".

But who else was there?

One of the budding hypotheses forming in Maf's brain was the possibility that Brook and him were working together. The announcements were right; Jason was a murderer, Brook was a triple murderer, you can't get that kind of mileage on a sane and stable mind by yourself. But that girl he was pining over, she was gone...so did he really have a sane and stable mind, wherever he was?

Well...

Maf sat in his seat, just thinking the situation through as many times as he could without making it look like he was simply stalling for time.

What to do, what to do, what to do...

...there's really no other way to do this.

He reached across his shoulder and brought his bag around to the floor surrounding him, fumbling inside. There was something in here that made sure he would get answers. Maf sure as hell didn't want to use it, but...given the situation, and how much they didn't know...

The wooden grip scraped against his hands, and they clenched down upon the tiny gun lofting around in there with his final belongings. He brought it out, plain view for Nathan to see, and turned towards his friend.

"We get answers, Nathan."

((Tiffany Chanders and Quincy Jones continued from Endings & Beginnings))

((GMing of Quincy Jones approved by Killer_Moth))

It had been about half a day. They'd stopped only periodically to rest, never staying long in one place because people kept on butting in. It was true that they weren't going in and saying "Get over here," but people were still there. The worst part about it was that it got Tiffany to thinking. It got her thinking about the two things closest to her: Quincy and home. Quincy had started out the game as being Tiffany's lackey, but she was now developing actual respect for him - grudging respect, but it was still there. He was putting up with this situation better than she was, and Quincy had been able to kill where she probably would have been unable to do so. Of course the unfortunate thing was, Quincy still had to die in order for her to go home and to see her mom.

Tiffany had actually shed a couple tears at the thought of her mother. Unlike Quincy, her mother was the only person Tiffany would admit respect for or truthfully talk about anything going into the game. They'd had such good times at the mall and at the spa.

If I'm lucky, maybe I'll actually get to celebrate with her.

She'd been a little lost in her thoughts when she'd noticed the big building a couple hundred feet away. Tiffany looked at Quincy behind her, who simply nodded as they approached the building.

Somewhere inside the building, a female shrieked. Saul jumped back again at the sound, the idea of leaving the place was looking more and more desirable with each passing second. "Uh... yeah, I think that's a good sign that we should get the hell out of here," he spoke, starting to walk away from the warehouse at a quickened pace.

He saw the boy and girl, both of them making their way towards the large building. He didn't know if they saw him, but in all honesty he didn't really care, just as long as they didn't try to attack him. He just wanted to get as far away from there as quickly as possible, making sure to take a different route out so as not to walk past Marco's dead body again.
