Discord Of The Fittest (DOTF) is a game run by DerArknight through the chat service Discord. DOTF takes its cues from the early versions of SOTF, including throwback mechanics such as ongoing applications and a relaxed expectation of realism. Character profiles are only a handful or words, and deaths come quick and easy.
The trial run of DOTF, known retroactively as V0, ran from Fall 2021 through Spring 2022. It ultimately petered out in Endgame, but the fates of the remaining characters were revealed. The version took place on a Discord server called SOTF: Discord.
The first proper version of DOTF, V1, launched in February 2023, featuring an improved system. It also started on a new server called Discord Of The Fittest, which will also be used for any future version.
As of May 2024, DOTF V2 applications have begun, on the same server as V1.
