Since Sycamore High is a public school, the same rules as state law apply.
Meaning that everyone under 18 can't get a tattoo under any circumstances.
Students who are 18 or older can have tattoos, but they can't have anything offensive or potentially disruptive.
So if your kid is 18, you are fine.
I'll be re-asking here so that everyone can see:
Has there been any previous death linked to CR?
And is the version the first time someone has been killed because of an action taken during CR?

Cyber-Realities work like video game worlds, meaning that they run on an egninge like Unity or Unreal Engine. So motion capturing could be used in some CRs to create realistic tree movements or NPCs, but that won't really be necessary for the terrorists.
And CGI is more of a movie thing as far as I know.
Making CR worlds boils down to coding, just like making a video game.

There have been cases of people staying logged into a CR for too long and dying off starvation and dehydration, similar to how there are real cases of people dying in front of their computers or in online cafes. Just like in reality, those cases got little media coverage and barely anyone cared.
While some CRs allow to feel pain, this will be the first case of someone using the CR tech to kill someone.

Now a second question. If a person is good at manipulating the Server is there a chance they can change their avatar while in the game?

How much do the CR avatars have to resemble the person playing as them? Do they need to be near-identical, are some embellishments allowed, or are the students given a fair degree of freedom for how they look there?

Are their major CR hubs that are pretty much like metaverse Twitter?
