How does one acquire lunch on the Frontier?

What is the U of C's policy towards alcohol when it comes to people who are older than 21? Are they allowed to bring it on campus but not allowed to take it out of their dorms?

Unless otherwise expressly approved by the University of Cascadia, possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages in any form is not permitted on campus. Alcoholic beverages may be served at approved events, assuming that the organizers follow all local and state laws regarding the consumption of alcohol. Alcohol may be consumed within residences by persons of legal age, but students are advised that state law prohibits the drinking of alcoholic beverages in hallways and public areas not covered with a proper permit.

In regards to the Frontier, it is not a dry ship and the galley has an open bar. While it would be frowned upon to drink to excess, none of the facilitators care enough to enforce any prohibition on alcohol for those who are underage.

How does one acquire lunch on the Frontier?

There is a well-stocked galley that runs like a buffet, with a rotating menu of meals depending on the day. Off hours of official mealtime, the ship has a well-stocked pantry full of snacks. It's typical for people on trips like these to bring small stocks of snacks or non-perishable food they have a particular fondness for.

The mercenaries in the cargo hold, on the other hand, are subsisting exclusively off of military rations and microwavable pizza pockets.

Does the Frontier have WiFi or a router for internet use or to remain in contact with people outside of the ship? If my kid wanted to watch Netflix on his computer, would that even be possible?

There will be some limited internet access - it's consistent, but not fast - until the very last evening of the trip.

Students are advised that slowdowns may be common, as the Frontier is currently in the process of a few IT upgrades.

Additionally, it should be noted that the trip itself is well outside of the range of any data coverage.

U of C has a vibrant student culture, and there are a huge assortment of clubs and teams at the University. Past a certain size, clubs can apply for official sanction from the University, at which point they'll receive a small stipend each semester. It's a large and diverse post-secondary institution, so if you want to have a particular club that your character is involved in - go for it! My own University, which U of C draws a lot of its inspiration from, had literally hundreds of them.

The mines were never especially productive, as Severniy Norin was more of a propaganda tool than it was a seriously economically viable project. Nevertheless, there are still gold deposits on the island as they weren't completely exhausted by the USSR; the island wasn't able to extract resources especially quickly.

Since taking ownership of the island, Janus-Hayes has funded numerous assessments of the island that state it is geologically unstable and unsuitable for hardened military installations and mining over the long term, in order to dissuade repossession of their testing ground.

The previous POTUS was as much of a dirtbag as his real-life counterpart, and so unfortunately that would have been the case. Consider the progress of the pandemic prior to the arrival of the vaccines as more or less 1:1 to our world. The primary difference is that it came to a resolution much faster.
