"Yeah, wish I'd shown it off more."
She'd only worn the whole thing once or twice, and neither of them were at school. People had thought she looked cool while skating though.
Her mouth turned to a sympathetic smile. She knew what the other girl meant-what she felt. What the future held.
"Hey, if it means anything? As soon as that live stream starts, I know people that are gonna work their asses off to get us outta here. Might take a bit, but they'll do it."
She didn't know if she really believed it. If something could be done, let alone if it could happen before anyone got hurt. But it was a nice thing to think, so she could at least talk like they still had long lives ahead of them.
Wouldn't be the first time.

(( And he entered. With the heart of the cards! ))

And up he was. Looking around, but not quite confused. He was used to being in CyberSpace. But this felt a bit different. Well...maybe we make the best of this?
"Hello? I'm-uh, don't be scared! I know that what I look like can be...intimidating, sometimes. And-and also just a new person can beee...well...it can scare you."
Him. Oh my god. Why did it have to be Hiro.

The conversation had taken a downer turn, and Julia was being dragged through the current. She did not want to think of that, or other things she should have done when she had the chance, or her family for that matter. It was all just an exercise in being sad and feeling terrible.
That's all it was, now. Julia could see with Marnie that the two could have talked more, could have maybe been friends outside, but that's just what if's, and not even concrete ones. Maybe they never would have been friends outside of this and maybe it was all a comfort thing to make it easier.
Julia did not know and she hated that she didn't. Any tapping or such from her had stopped at this point as she mulled over what Marnie was saying, her arms crossed as she tried to keep a neutral expression.
"Yeah, I hope they do..." Was all she said to that before someone else was there.
Julia spun and waved with a forced smile to the newcomer.
"Hello! No worries! "We're friendly!" Maybe the conversation could take a better turn? No offense to Marnie, but Julia was willing to take the plunge.
Still in awe of that Chun-Li outfit though.

She knew that face. She knew that lack of energy. She wasn't really helping-just sort of making things worse, really.
It was new, being on this side of things. She wasn't used to it. Didn't like it-at least not any more than she liked being on the side she was used to.
The subject changed as someone else came in and she wouldn't fight it. Just as willing to welcome it.
Turning to the new boy, she raised the hand not holding the gun, giving a single wave of her hand.
"No worries. Not exactly eager to start anything."
There were worse people to meet in a class death game. At least it wasn't Patrick or Winter.

"Friendly? That's great. I really hoped you all were...not one of those mean bakas..."
A friendly smile - just what the hell was Hiro wearing, they could be thinking. He looked like Yugi, if they watched Yu-gi-oh as kids.
"So...do any of you know how exactly we're going to survive this? I may have a few pointers...it's just like an isekai!"

…Bakas?
Is he for real?
That thought panged in her mind immediately when Julia heard that. At first, she thought she might have misheard him or something, but no, he did just say that.
Especially when he mentioned isekai and a part of her mouth collected vomit from the mention.
She forced a smile anyway, he sounded interesting.
“There are some ideas afoot, for now we’ve settled on not dying.”
Julia rose up her right arm and melodramatically coughed into her elbow crook, before swinging her arm over the table.
“Anyway, look at this cool shit they gave me!”

It takes everything in her not to cringe at the boy's words.
Bakas? Isekai? And the way he's dressed? Oh, she had some thoughts.
None that would leave her mouth, though, instead focusing on the new topic at hand.
"Yeah, not dying is pretty much the main plan right now."
She complied with the other girls request, glancing at the items on the table.
"Definitely enough to keep anyone from wanting to fuck with you, that's for sure."
Her eyes went back to the gun in her hand, before raising it slightly, keeping it pointed away from either of the others.
"I have this and my wheels, but the other thing was just junk."

"I got this."
The anime-ified boy pulled out what looked to be a hand cannon. A Desert Eagle for those who were on the Internet - everyone called it a deagle.
"Quite the powerful looking gun if I do say so myself."
Hiro was not exercising perfect gun safety, but he at least didn't point the gun at people...for very long. When he pulled it out he may have flagged one or two people. Thankfully, his finger was off the trigger.
"Kinda wish I had my cards with me. I wonder if they got Yu-Gi-Oh around here. I have the heart of the cards!"

"Right? They be giving us some huge firepower. Like they want us to blow this joint."
Julia had already seen what the other girl had to offer in terms of blowing things up, but then the boy brought out the hand cannon, and Julia's eyes, if possible, could bulge out of the pretend eyes she had in front of her real ones. Mouth agape at this thing.
Of course, not as impressive as what she had, but you know.
Either way, she was not really sure about this guy anymore. He was kind of waving that thing around willy-nilly, and now he was talking about Yu-Gi-Oh? He was going to play cards here?
"Maybe?" She said hesitantly.

"I'm not ruling that out yet."
What looked like a grenade launcher, a deagle, and a Smith & Wesson Magnum. It's like they expected a destruction of the whole school, not just their class. Would they want that? Not like anything can be ruled out when there's a question of why anyone would want this to happen in the first place.
Once the boy brought out his own weapon, and more notably once it was visible he wasn't being safe with it, she pushed herself back, rolling few feet away.
"Wouldn't bet on it. Even if they did, I doubt anyone would be in the mood to play."
Seeing a teacher get shot was a serious mood killer.

"It is...kinda worrying they gave us these."
Hiro would clear his throat, and look down at the gun in his hands.
"You think there's gonna be people who are actually going to...like...participate? Just starting shootin' right away?"

They were all armed to the teeth. It said something when the last armed was the one with the deag' so Julia could only guess as to what the rest got. On one hand Julia was excited to have such stuff at her disposal, but on the other, the others weren't far behind in that department.
She hopped from one foot to the other where she stood and thought about this. So far they hadn't heard anything so nobody was decimating the earth yet, but that could mean that they were silently taking people out or waiting? Maybe...
This conversation was depressing.
Julia opened her mouth to say something, thought better of it and closed it, before opening it again with a shrug and said:
"Probably! For all we know, anyway."
Julia coughed.
"Any plans besides your Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament?"

She hummed, seemingly not giving an answer. Eyes stayed on the ground as the moment tried to pass her by.
Then, she shrugged, making a noncommittal noise.
"Yeah, don't know if it'll be instant, buuuut..."
Another shrug, letting that suffice as her answer.
Her gaze went to the boy, curious what answer he'd give to the other girl's question.

"Don't really know. Kinda stuck! But I'm into a bunch of animes! Wanted to go to a con soon, so I hope I'm able to!"
He seems to hum to life with the mention of this. Much nicer conversation topic!
"Maybe I'll get to meet the voice actors for Yugi! Or maybe Yasuke? That one was great!"
He gets to ranting about anime. Is this all he watches?

There was a knock on the door to the common area.
Knock knock knock.
(Ilya Arkadi continued from Now there's problems here)
“Helloooooo? Heeeey? Anyone home? Pizzas here.”
Ilya forced an awkward chuckle, standing just outside the door leading to the schoolyard.
“Meh, nah, sorry, that was a little stupid.”
Kirsten’s bag was gone by this point. On his way over, he stopped to fit what he could in his pack. This really just meant some of the drinks and medical supplies, along with the weapon. The rest was in the schoolyard, zipped up nicely in its original container for the next person to pick up.
“I’m just gonna let myself in, if anyone’s around.” He circled the perimeter until he reached a window, leaning into it and trying to see through. He quickly realised that was pretty useless towards learning if he had company. Shrugging, he stepped back to the door and slowly pushed it open.
