TV3 Endgame, Part 7

This massive, multi-story cruise ship is at the center of the flotilla, the largest vessel present and one of the most reliably sturdy. Multiple avenues of approach allow it to serve as a hub for transit to other parts of the arena, but also leave it all-but-impossible to fortify against entry itself.

Oh. Right.

The gun had been in smoke and fire and flames for a while. So when Anthony pulled the trigger, the barrel kinda exploded. Not as nearly enough punch or damage that he'd wanted — he'd envisioned Ivan's leg blown off, or hanging by a thread of flesh. But the shrapnel and the buckshot with a fraction of the power had fucked up his leg anyway.

And Anthony Golden had won Season 67. It was inevitable, now. Who could oppose him? The fallen Goliath, or the girl with no weapon?

Justice had prevailed.

Tossing the shotgun aside, he grinned down at Ivan's shattered form.
