With the script supervisor on break, Catarina began swearing as the bag clipped the girl and limped back to her. She was ready, she was primed to fire off and get another hit in. Nobody robbed Catarina Markovitz, nobody.

But she knew. She knew that it would only take a single mistake to end up in a bad place. Catarina was going to make that mistake at some point, but she wasn't wasting it when she had her win, one of the only wins she could guarentee. So when the bag came back to her, completed its truncated, interrupted arc, she knew it was time to leave. Catarina clutched her bag high to her breast as she ran back to her suitcase. Both were as good as strapped to her body as she began charging away to the nearest corner, a building that seemed to connect somewhere that wasn't here.

This was such bullshit.

Two people she'd met, and they'd both confirmed her worst suspicions.

She wasn't making a mistake like that ever again.
