Blue on Blue

I've got a message in a song for you... (open once Leo roars in)

This is the Sandbox for TV3. Please remember that characters may, at any given time, be present in only one normal thread and one Memory thread. Memory threads should be placed within the Memories subforum. One-shots are always acceptable in both forums regardless of whether or not a character is in a thread.

As they stood there, surveying the damage done to the figure and giving their condolences to the owner in their own way, Leo could not help, but ponder where he had seen this before. Something on tv or online. An ad...

And then Gus mentioned it and it immediately clicked in his mind where he had seen it before.

An SOTF toy. Leo had to force himself not to wrinkle his face out of disgust. Everything his mother had taught him through life, everything he'd been taught to follow was perverted by that show.

Leo liked Gus when he was on the team and when they talked afterwards. Since Leo did not like to talk about the show, he never really gauged how Gus felt about it, and yet here he was with a figure from it.

The broken figure in Gus's hands was based on an actual human being, watched by millions to die somewhere. Leo couldn't imagine what that was like, and he hoped he never would.

At the same time, with the expression on Gus's face and how sad he seemed over the figure. Leo could not help, but feel a little bit guilty about it. He patted his pockets for his wallet.

"...How much was it?" He asked as he found it and pulled it out. It was an old leather wallet his parents had given him years ago, to teach him to keep track of his money. It had given him a sense of responsibility, a sense of getting older and more adult. A sense of trust from his parents that he would take of it.
