“But Yugi,” you ask, “I very understandably wasn’t here during V6/don’t remember this well enough at all, what do you mean by V7 Rolls AU?”
Well, basically, the point of this is to imagine an alternate universe where heroes and swap cards do not exist. The numbers rolled would be the same no matter what, but the removal of different people from the rolling list would mean that different people would be hit by those rolls, likely creating a totally different outcome than the one in this universe.
A couple of clarifications, though:
- In this universe, there are no restrictions that would provide protection from rolls — if multiple of your characters are hit, they are all slated to die. This is to prevent the AU from hitting a standstill when this result inevitably happens.
- If someone dies unrolled or is inactive killed, their counterpart in this AU will also be killed provided that they are still alive at that point. If they are not, their same-number counterpart will be killed instead.
- The rolling list I’ll be working off of will not be shuffled, if in the case that staff ever (for whatever reason) shuffles the rolling list.
- Only the numbers that actually hit someone in this universe will hit people in the AU. If a number in this universe is discarded because it was by the same handler of someone already hit, it will be assumed not rolled in the AU.
- Further clarifications will be placed here pending likely confusion from people here. Sorry if my phrasing is at any point not clear.
