Area: The Waterfall

Description: Overlooking Serenity Lake is the waterfall which flows from a river that begins at the top of the island. The area around the waterfall is also lush with vegetation and is noticeably peaceful under normal circumstances. However, while it gives an expansive view of the island and its surrounding area, those that approach the edge need to show caution as the rocks around the waterfall are slick and a fall would surely carry consequences.

Shortly following the events of A Portrait Of The Artist As A Dead Man, the following changes may be noted:

• A pair of sunglasses with square, brown lenses sit on a wide, flat rock in roughly the middle of the river, high enough not to be swept off by the current unless the river swells notably. The glasses are not folded.
• A duffel bag, stenciled B011, is caught by the strap in a cluster branches perhaps fifteen feet upstream from the edge of the waterfall. The bag is completely waterlogged, but remains mostly zipped; while a few small contents have been washed away and the survival guide has been reduced to a pulp along with any other paper contents, three ration bars remain, probably salvageable as the seal has not been broken. There are additionally two bottles of water, though the seal on one has been broken and while it is full of clear water, the origin for this is uncertain.
• A tattered hemp bracelet dangles from the edge of a root that sticks out over the waterfall's edge. High winds or notable disturbance may easily dislodge it.
• Sven Vee floats at the bottom of the waterfall, periodically tossed and tumbled by the currents, floating away a bit before getting drawn back, again and again. He is dead and his glasses, bracelet, and bag are missing. He has suffered a number of small lacerations and bruises of indeterminate origin, as well as major injuries seemingly caused by a fall. In his pockets are a number of Go stones, a few wrappers from candy that has melted away, three paperclips, and a set of keys. His right hand tightly clutches a black plastic button pulled from a coat; the button has a naval-style design with an image of an anchor etched into it.

As of Star Light, Star Bright & THE WHALE, the following changes may be noted:

• A large, flat stone on the rocky shores of the waterfall overlook has a noticeable pool of blood on it.
• From the stone, a trail of blood goes across the gravel below, away from it, leading towards a much larger pool of blood.
• This aforementioned larger pool splits off into another trail of blood, which leads to a person-shaped mound of gravel with a bag stenciled G034 resting on top of it, as a makeshift grave.
• Within the mound of gravel is Amelia Fischer's body, and the bag on top of it contains nothing besides an extra pair of clothes, appropriately sized for her.
