LMFAO (Languishing Many Fallen, Awfully Offed)

Takako was dead.
Kaori was dead.
Yuka, Yuko, Mitsuko freaking Souma-dead. All of them dead.
[[And somehow, she was still here.]]
Megumi had gotten some sleep, between the second and third announcements. If she had to guess, it was more out of exhaustion than anything else. Everything just made her so, so tired, that it didn't even matter when she had nightmares. The only thing that pulled her out of her sleep was the voice of that demon man over the speakers.
Still, the nightmares were more brutal than ever. Kayoko trying to shoot her, Yukie staring into her soul as blood blossomed from her chest, Shinji and Chisato shooting each other down, blood gushing from Oda's neck as he lunged at her with the stun gun. Awful in every way.
But she slept. Got proper rest. Woken up at the demon's call. Marked the danger zones. Stole a pair of baggy dark blue jeans and a multicolored windbreaker. And then she left the Seki house without a second thought.
She knew it was stupid, going back to the place she had been shot, but she needed to sleep. And where else could she do that? Lighthouse might not have a bed, she was not going back to the clinic if she could help it, and the individual houses just seemed too much of a risk, with no other options but to hide behind trees. At least she could hide from house to house if something bad happened.
Plus, somehow, being shot felt like the least of her worries, if it really had been Kayoko that shot her.
No use being scared of the dead, after all.
