Was it shitty of her to abandon the girl with a grenade launcher and the boy with a deagle, right when someone new was coming around? Yeah, almost definitely.

…what, you some justification? Not like it would change what happened. She did what she did and it wasn’t going to be taken back.

The klunk klunk klunk sounds of her wheels as she went up the stairs got annoying quick, but ended just as quickly. Back to the rrrrrrrrrr she was comfortable with.

She had things she needed to do. Places she needed to be. As nice as people seemed, it was best to do things without a crowd. Maybe alone.

As if to prove the point, the announcement arrived as she was on the bridge.

She stumbled, but avoided falling as her vision was taken from her. She mumbled a curse under her breath, but was silent for the most part. She crouched down to the floor, but readied her weapon in case it needed to be used.

Their bodies were brought to the hospital. The whole internet was watching them. A boy had beaten a girl to death.

By the time it was over, only one word was brought to her lips.

“…fuck.”

She took a breath in, then let it back out.

No one disturbed her in her time of distress.

Her composure returned.

Standing up again, she continued forward, though came to a stop at the orange pile, staring at it.

Then she looked to the sky, through the hole in the glass, and spoke louder than she had last.

“Whaddya think, chat? Should I go for it?”

Silence as she continued to look up.

Then a sigh.

“I’ll think about it some more. Get back to you later.”
