This songtest's theme is...Songs To Murder 2020 To. Whatever helps your vibe move on from the the dumpster fire we all held hands through, show us the notes you wanna send this one out on before it is legally amended from human history.

[+] You Know The Drill

- Send in your songs via board PM or Discord

- Songs will be divided into 1-3 semifinals, probably 2, if you can't be here for the first semifinal please contact me and I will put your song in the next round!

- Listen to every song in your round and give them votes, 12 for your favourite, 10 for your next favourite, then 8 for the third, 7 for the fourth, and so until you give 1 point to your tenth favourite. Not voting will result in your song getting DQ'd! Rounds last for 3 or more days.

- You can still vote if you're not in a round, as a public vote, which counts for half the points.

- The top songs move onto the finals, with the number depending on the number of songs in a round.

- Repeat the voting process with the finals, and that's how we'll determine the ultimate winner of the tournament arc.

- Submit your songs before the first round starts, not gonna let people jump in after the first round starts, etc.

- Whoever gets the most points will get to host the next contest. If they pass, it goes to second place, then third, and so on.

- If your song results in a temporal disturbance consistent with killed time we must immediately notify [EXPUNGED]

- General songtest rules:

- Nothing that has been submitted before. If your song is over ten minutes people only have to listen to the first ten minutes.

Sign ups will run until 11 PM CST on 1/12/2021, or early if everyone signs up and gets their songs in quickly. If you need to be placed in a specific round please let me know when you sign up. Songs and votes should be submitted by Board PM or Discord PM, though Discord PM is preferred.

It has come to my attention that I misnamed "Afraid of Everyone" as "Afraid of Everything" when I initially counted it. This caused me to miss that it has been previously submitted.

Round is suspended awaiting a swap. Thread will be updated when the round begins again.

Swap has been made. The round resumes with an extension; the round was suspended for 12 hours but I will be unavailable to close the round at 11 AM CST 1/25/21 so a full 24 hours has been granted. The new round end is 11 PM CST 1/25/21 and the post has been updated to reflect this.
