V7 Launch Date

Technically it's still the 30th in some time zones

This board holds announcements and rules from the V7 era, which have been superseded or else otherwise become no longer applicable.

V7 Launch Date

#1

Post by backslash »

Attention, handlers:

We are happy to announce a tentative V7 launch date of Friday the 31st of May, 2019.

New applications will be accepted until the end of May 30, 2019. At that point, they will be cut off, and only applications in progress may be continued.

Characters who remain in the critiquing process will still be critiqued until three days before the time of first rolls (around when the staff will actually conduct the rolls), at which point any unapproved characters will be forfeited. This is to prevent the unfair advantage that comes from having characters who do not run the risk of being hit by the first rolls.

All sections of pregame (besides Memories, which is open until endgame) will remain open until first rolls are posted. V7 Meanwhile will open at the same time as game proper's launch, at which point V6 Meanwhile will be considered closed. Extensions of any of these deadlines past launch are highly unlikely, so please try to get your business taken care of beforehand.
"Art enriches the community, Steve, no less than a pulsing fire hose, or a fireman beating down a blazing door. So what if we're drawing a nude man? So what if all we ever draw is a nude man, or the same nude man over and over in all sorts of provocative positions? Context, not content! Process, not subject! Don't be so gauche, Steve, it's beneath you."

You've got a little less than TWO WEEKS to get new profile submissions in. The cutoff for new submissions will be 11:59 PM PST on May 30th. Try not to cut it too close.
