Appearance: Standing at somewhere around 5'5" and tipping the scales at somewhere around 280 lbs, Mrs. Hubbard is quite the noticeable figure around Aurora High School, if only for her sheer size.  She is a yo-yo dieter who has struggled with her weight since her mid-20's, and during her tenure at Aurora High she has managed to drop nearly 100 pounds several times before regaining it.  Her hair is chin-length and is always worn slightly puffed out.  Her eyes are a dark brown in color, and her nose is small but somewhat pug-like in appearance.  Her skin is a medium caramel color, and she is typically seen wearing decorative, flowing tops with knee or ankle-length skirts.

Biography/Personality: Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Aisha Hubbard was quite the wild thing in her younger years.  Rebellious in nature, she was no stranger to running away from home or getting herself in trouble.  At the age of seventeen, she ran off and eloped with then-boyfriend Markus Hubbard -- ten years her senior -- before moving across the country and away from her family.  Despite the manner in which she was wed to her husband, they have remained together ever since, and have raised a large, happy family together -- they have five children, and are loving grandparents to three grandchildren.

After having her first child at the age of 19, Aisha went back to school, finishing her GED, going to a community college and acquiring an associate's degree, and continuing her education from there.  Deciding to major in music education came out of left field for Aisha.  She had always had an interest in music, but due to the background she grew up in, had never had much opportunity to excel at it.  She found all this, and more, in her years at college.

Being a teacher was a no-brainer for Mrs. Hubbard.  Due to her own childhood, she found herself wanting to spend time with other children -- to give them an opportunity to learn that she felt she didn't have.  She is a firm and strict, but fair, teacher, and refuses to take sass from anybody.  She is a very actively involved teacher, and is constantly setting up extracurricular activities -- like concert attendances and the like -- for her class to attend.

Because of her weight, several students have taken to calling her "Mrs. Hubble" over the years, in reference to the Hubble telescope.  Unsurprisingly, she has yet to be called this to her face.
