"Yes, may I speak to- I mean, hi."

The familiar resonance of the voicemail's beep echoed and the robotic female voice asked him to leave a message.

He left none.

"Hey. You probably know whose voicemail this is. If you don't, I don't want to talk to you. Leave a message."

Robotic voice telling him to say his message then a beep.

"Yes, this is Michael Shelley, I'm, uh, the father of Dorothy Shelley. You may have heard of her on the news but that's-that's not the reason I'm calling you see I have this project and I-"

He choked up.

"It's hard and I have questions and I just- just want help, okay? I know you probably don't want people to harass you and that's like what I've been doing for the past month but I really need to talk to you. I, hum, left you my number couple of times, I guess you are busy or something since you have, well, heard the news. Please don't be crept out about how I found your number, I just googled it, ah ah, probably should fixed that."

He paused, looking up.

"It's starting to rain so I'll have to go so, uh, I'll call tomorrow maybe? Please call back or answer my emails, thank you."

He hung up.
