The Seaside

The beautiful and sandy shoreline that gives way to the Atlantic Ocean remains one of the city's most prized assets. A large amusement park was erected on the beach in the 1970's and has been there ever since. The amusement park boasts all sorts of attractions and rides, including an enormous ferris wheel, a wooden roller coaster, and many other rides and attractions, among which is an old "pirate ship" which has been turned into a pirate-themed restaurant. If nothing else, the experience is a unique one, quite unlike any other.

Further down the shore from the hustle and bustle of the amusement park lies a large marina filled with sailboats, yachts, and jet skis of the wealthy and well-off, and even the fishermen who call the city their home. The marina is always bustling in the summer, and water sports abound on the nearby sea.

Even further down the shore, the white grains of sand that make up the beach remain virtually undisturbed, and stretch out for as far as the eye can see. From here, you can't even hear the noise from the amusement park, or see the lights from the city. A large pier juts out into the otherwise undistubed water, and at night you can see the lights from a nearby lighthouse shining out across the sea.
