Appearance: At 6' 4" and 204 pounds, Coach Oppenheimer is immediately notable for both his height and for his almost constant tracksuits, coordinated in a different color for each day of the week. He is not a particularly good-looking man, with a round, somewhat squashed-looking face and similarly doughy features, but he moves with purpose and authority. His hair is dark brown and buzzed short, and his eyes are a muddy hazel. When attending formal events or games, he squeezes into a tailored suit jacket and slacks, which makes his toned physique much more obvious than his tracksuits.

Biography/Personality: Coach Oppenheimer was a star basketball player back in his own high school years, and it is frequently rumored among students that some untimely legal trouble was the only thing that kept him from a promising professional career. Whatever the real reason, he returned home to Chattanooga after college and took up teaching instead, and he has been a fearsome presence to his athletes and to opposing teams and referees alike ever since. Coach Oppenheimer commands respect with his no-nonsense attitude, and he's fairly unpopular among students who are just trying to get their PE credit without much work, as well as any athletes who get too full of themselves. Off the court however, Coach Oppenheimer is a gruff but loving husband and father, and he can frequently be seen annoying his coworkers with photographs of his preschool-aged twin girls.
