Reason for Away: Marching band! Saturday is eaten up by a home game against Akron in which I will be marching and playing a lot of music, then afterwards I'm eating a quick dinner and hopping on a bus to Danbury Connecticut where I'll be sleeping on the floor of a High School gymnasium, and then in the morning I'll be heading to the Allentown Collegiate Marching Band festival! Then I hop on the bus and go alllll the way back to Massachusetts. I'm going to take that Monday off too because I don't expect to be coming back entirely in one piece.

Reason for Away: Scheduled power outage, noooooo. Apparently there's a significant risk that the power will go out sometime today due to planned maintenance stuff, and I'll need to prepare for it. It's a scheduled thing that's like, for shitloads of Californians apparently? (it's because of weather stuff) And they're not saying how long it's going to be, just that "if it goes off for you, we're hoping it'll be quick, but it could take up to five days before it's back online." If I suddenly go missing, that's why.
