hmm, didn't think about implications of fruit vendor being a red herring for fenris. that might improve my read on them a bit. it's a......very weak herring though, no? it's not like a fruit vendor has a good reason to target the person they expect to die. in fact they have an active reason not to choose that person.

Yeah it's not a guarantee, but it's not guaranteed a cop will investigate a miller or know they're sane when they do so, and it's not a guarantee that shadow magic will turn up scum. I would suspect bastard play rn between me and boogie and you but Ricky denied having shadow magic before your claim which tells me he's hiding something and is almost def scum

Zetsu wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2020 5:21 pm I'd like to have gotten responses from Decoy and Jace before claiming, but we're running up against the timer.

I'm Druid, I'm the gunsmith, and I can investigate a player to determine whether they have shadow magic or not.

Whomst did I investigate, you might ask?

it was

*drumroll*

RICKY!!! CONGRATULATIONS RICKY!!!! YOU GET A PRIZE!!!!!!!!!!

Vote: Ricky
Zetsu is telling the truth. I'm a gunsmith miller, not a regular miller

What's the vote count?

I'm going to have to go with everyone else on this - there's not a lot of stuff against Fenris to do any more than an eyebrow quirk.

Also, apologies for being offline - food poisoning.

man i was SO fucking confused for a minute because gunsmith in epicmafia parlance is "role that can give out a one-shot gun to someone at night that can perform one kill" and i was like what the fuck does that have to do with anything zetsu is saying i had to look it up on mafiascum and be like oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh which is ESPECIALLY impressive/stupid because i USED GUNSMITH IN MY OWN GODDAMN GAME

i die

anyway my head is buzzy and a bunch of people involved here could be lying or in cahoots but we aren't at mylo yet so we can just off with zetsu's head tomorrow if this goes poorly

VOTE: MK

Zetsu: 1 (Boogie)
MK (L-2): 4 (Toben, Zetsu, Paige, Fenris)

10 alive means 6 to lynch. Countdown.

I’m good for a massclaim.

Oh, and I’m pretty sure someone kinda already brought this up but I just caught on that it makes little sense for boogie and Paige to have enough knowledge about setup to proactively trick the gunsmith like this and for Ricky to have no clue. Unless the whole scum team is Being really galaxy brained, anyways

I’m still inclined to say that a watcher and a gunsmith on town feels vaguely implausible in a game this small.

Paige, would you mind sharing what your offensive power is? Unless you got a reason not to.

Decoy, go ahead and tell us if your role pm mentions shadow magic. Probably full claim, too—I think we should go ahead with the massclaim.

Yeah, we’re l-2, which is pretty safe. Nobody bring us to l-1 yet. Can’t have Ricky quickhammering himself.

I feel like i'm not explaining this properly. I don't have an offensive power. My PM says that I have shadowy magic but it would cause suspicion to use it offensively so I won't; that's not me deciding that i will not, it's my PM dictating to me that I will not. I have no powers but to steal from people each night. This is part of why I'm so confused.

With the context from Boogie that he is himself a gunsmith specific miller I'm wondering if I would even ping as having shadow magic to you since my PM says I'm not using it and gunsmith is typically geared towards specific flavor lines like "has gun," so maybe it's supposed to be a hint about the set-up for me? Having an informed townie would support that, I wonder if anyone else has weird lines like that in their flavor? This is not a call to mass claim them rn btw, but all townies should look over their PMs for odd notes like that that could be useful later imo
