Diego froze for a moment as Camilla approached him. Stayed that way as she embraced him.

Then, the bag fell off Diego's shoulder, thumped onto the floor. He slumped into Camilla's shoulders, sobbed into them. And he held her back.

"I'm sorry, Cam. I'm sorry."

A bittersweet smile formed on her face, unbidden.
