Official SOTF Mini Update Thread (Current: TV3 Live, PV3 and SC2 In Endgame)

Heya, SOTF! Finally ported from the old board (and a bit late because I forgot it hadn't been done yet), this thread will compile information regarding Mini and will be updated, bumped, etc. periodically.

At present, the open Mini is SOTF-TV Version Three.TV3 focuses on a world where the entertainment/televised aspect of the death game is given particular focus. The game has widespread social acceptance, winners become celebrities, and dissent--while passably widespread--is tolerated as a fringe position. Unlike in other games, TV's hosts are mostly concerned about what makes good entertainment, and so things that would lead to a student's execution (say, attempting escape) in another setting are accepted and sometimes even celebrated; if you manage to disable your collar and make it to the edge of the arena, you're liable to find somebody from production waiting with a blanket, a cup of hot chocolate, and a book deal. TV also includes other unique elements, grouping students into teams and judging victory on that end (so if, say, three assigned teammates are the final three, they all win) and offering official winner status and release to the first student each game to score ten kills. TV also includes a significant amount of handler-sourced lore on past seasons.

As a reminder, Mini's rules may be found there. If you're unfamiliar with Mini, it's worth taking a look and getting a feel for how it differs from Main.

Finally, handler-run AUs remain open to submissions. If you have any interest in running or participating in AUs, we welcome you to check out the program.

Looking to the future, the next version has yet to be decided/announced, as it's still very early days for TV3. More information will be forthcoming as that changes.
