V7 Holiday Schedule Announcement

Attention, handlers.

As many of you know, November/December tends to be a time that bogs down SOTF activity, largely due to the presence of Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza, New Year's, etc. This has often led to pretty substantial delays in deaths, announcements, and so forth, as many handlers go Away and/or require extensions.

In light of this, and the success of the schedule changes made for V6, the staff team has decided to put forth the following holiday schedule:

The next announcement and accompanying rolls are going to be posted December 1st. The death deadline for this set of rolls may be extended. Additionally, the next set of rolls is going to be delayed until January 15th. The following announcement will be posted February 1st, and we should resume the regular schedule of rolls occurring every two weeks following that.

These changes will leave nobody slated for deaths during Thanksgiving or the weeks of Hanukkah/Christmas/New Year's, unless they have already run extremely overdue. Please note, however, that we will be enforcing activity and deadlines as normal during this time period, so please post in Away if the need arises.
