Bad Days, Bad Moods, Bad Burgers

Alvaro breaks out in hives when exposed to chili? How did he even live like that? Spicy food was the best.

"Sorry, I'll—" Lily sneezed again, although this time she'd located tissues in time. "I'll keep that in mind—" Sneeze. "For the futu—"

Another sneeze. Alright, this was just getting annoying. And this couldn't be helping her odds of spreading germs.

"Excuse me—" Two sneezes that time around. Ugh, she hoped she wasn't going for a record. Her record was seventeen over the space of three minutes. She kept the tissue clamped firmly over her nose before choking out, "I need to go, I'm sorry."

This burger wasn't doing much for her hunger anyway. Lily picked up her tray with one hand and, nodding at both Alvaro and Alessio, hurried away. Still letting out periodic sneezes. Perhaps her parents had been right about the fact that she shouldn't have shown up. Not that she'd admit it to them.

Sebastian! That was the name.

"Yeah, we totally have to", he said in response to the playdate idea Juniper had. He also nodded and smiled at Juniper's suggestion of chatting again, before she left.

Poor Lily had a sneeze chain and left as well. "See ya and get well soon". So it was just him and Alvaro.

There was not much to talk for Al, because it was rude to talk with food in the mouth. He devoured the burger. He drank much coffee. Energy for the next class was availabe for Al now.

After finishing eating, he said goodbye to Alvaro, also pointing out that he might go to Vacanti's after school. He went to class to not come too late. Well, if he hadn't it would have been kind of funny, because he did not take food to school to punctually come to class.

Everybody seemed to accept his response. Emphasis on seemed. It was possible that everybody was mocking his selective hearing, but  he didn't really want to think about that. He wasn't here to socialise anyway. He was here to eat his lunch. The fact that he was sitting with three of his friends just happened to be a benefit. Wait, no, bad way of wording it. He liked his friends, but he needed to be quick. There, that was better. He actually sounded nice now. He remembered a saying, that being nice makes people nice to you in return. Well, he hoped that that was true.

People started to leave, at this point. Juniper was the first to leave, having received a text from Oskar about something. Lily was the next to leave, unfortunately being too sick to stay on the table. As she left, Alvaro watched her in the corner of his eyes until she was out of sight. He hoped she came to Vacanti's later today. Working the cafe was always better with her around, and it'd help to unwind after the test.

Him and Alessio talked for a bit, until the latter left. He finished soon after, and headed to the library. He kinda wished he could still be at the table talking, but oh well, he supposed that was the passage of time.
