Michel Stanulis

NPCs (non-player characters) go here. This section is for characters who will not be participating in the game, including teachers and school administration. To encourage consistency, the staff have created a number of ready-made teachers, all of whom are available for free handler use unless stated otherwise. Please add any teachers you create to this roster. DO NOT create new departments/subjects for the school without first getting a staffer's okay.

Michel Stanulis

#1

Post by SOTF_Help »

Name: Michel (My-kill) Stanulis
Position: Latin Teacher
Gender: M
Age: 28

Appearance: Tall and slender, Michel stands at 6'1" and has a very lithe frame.  His shaggy, semi-curly brown hair is always kept in a messy, unkempt, "just-got-out-of-bed" sort of look, which counteracts the remainder of his attire -- a clean pressed collared shirt, ironed slacks, and dress shoes.  Chocolate eyes, small square-rimmed glasses, and defined facial features make him a generally handsome man, and during his short tenure at Aurora High (where this is his second year of teaching), he has become the object of unrequited affection for many the high school teen.

Biography/Personality: Kind and amicable, Michel Stanulis has a father-like personality that seems to belong to someone well beyond his young age.  His motto, as scrawled across the wall of his classroom in Latin, is "Attitude is everything", and this is something he actively projects on all of his students.  Not at all rigid or overly strict like most Latin teachers, Michel always jokes that he is putting a modern twist on a language that has not changed in a thousand years.

He's very laid-back, and always seems to be laughing or smiling.  The degree of patience he has with students borders on remarkable, and even the most frustrating of stragglers never seems to cause him to lose his cool.  Even class-disrupting antics seem to roll off his shoulders, and he seems to always find a way to reign even disorderly students back in line without having to take drastic measures.

He makes it a point to really connect with his students -- perhaps because he's still a student himself, and is currently working toward his Ed.D. -- and during any free time he has, he can often be found hanging around campus or tutoring struggling students.  He is an avid reader, and when he isn't teaching, can almost always be found with some book or another in his hand.
