Appearance: Mr. Sanchez is of an average build and height at 6'0'' and 200 pounds. He has greasy looking, short, black curly hair on his head and tan complexion that gives his face the appearance of leather. He has small, uninviting eyes and occasionally some stubble on his face when he neglects shaving. Mr. Sanchez dresses in casual short sleeve button down shirts in solid colors and jeans with loafers on most days.

Biography/Personality: Roberto Sanchez has been teaching at Aurora for ten years and in that time, his fans are few and far between. He was born in a suburb of Seattle with parents originally from Mexico. He worked at a private school teaching Spanish following his graduation and soon after married his girlfriend, a fellow teacher at the school. However, he and his wife went through a bitter divorce and he chose to quit and start working at Aurora to distance himself from her and has been at his current school since then.

He has a reputation for being very strict, not tolerating any sort of disruptions in class or deviations from the material. His tests are difficult, he assigns quite a bit of homework, and he isn't very patient with students who need help. Though he is rather unpopular with students, they will admit that he is a good teacher and they learn a lot. His students are always well prepared for the AP Spanish test and SAT II Spanish test.

Another source of his unpopularity is that he tends to favor the girls in class over the boys, being more patient with them and nicer all around and will occasionally flirt with single mothers during back to school night.
