Seems About Right

The school campus is very well maintained. The grass is always kept neat and short, and the hedges around the school are always kept trimmed. The sports fields are all in immaculate condition, and a nice quad area has been set up for the students outside, with tables, chairs, and a gazebo.

The blush in her cheeks rose again at his words, and she found herself momentarily tongue-tied, stumbling over "S-see you tomorrow!" He was just so - so nice. Well, maybe she would see him again at Prom.

If she was allowed to go, that is. She still had to ask Tom about that. Well, the sooner the better.

Smiling quietly to herself, she headed off in the direction of home, any lingering sting from the unexpected collision with the pavement completely overwhelmed by a general feeling of goodwill.
