Re: Kimmy, Kimmy, Candy Eater

It wasn't working. The pair were still apathetic and depressed. "If anyone's gotten away, I haven't heard anything about it." She couldn't leave it at that. "But that doesn't mean that we can't. There's a first time for everything, and I see no reason why that can't be us." Empty...

Re: Kimmy, Kimmy, Candy Eater

"Well, somebody'd better fire him, then." Amanda smiled, turning back to the newcomer. "I remember that about you." She didn't mention that Anna's utter apathy was just as much of a danger as a psychosis would be. It was only her opinion, anyways. "Just wanted to make sure ...

Re: Kimmy, Kimmy, Candy Eater

You bet. Amanda nodded. "I'm saving at least two of these babies for that fat fuck who dragged us all into this game." She knew he was probably listening, that was the whole point of the foul language. "One down his throat, and one up his..." For Louise's sake, Amy didn't finish...

Re: Kimmy, Kimmy, Candy Eater

Amanda shook her head. "I haven't killed anyone. I... I think I might if I have to, but... Well, the only grenades I used were for trying to get used to wielding this thing. Nearly started a forest fire." Not exactly a laughing matter, but Amy chuckled anyways. She needed to unstress. Gett...

Re: Kimmy, Kimmy, Candy Eater

Playing...? Amy realized she was still leveling the grenade launcher at Lulu. "Oh! She immediately dropped the weapon, tube hitting the ground with a metallic thwunk . "In order, a lot better now, thankfully not, and unfortunately, yes." She gave a soft smile, trying to lighten the r...

Re: Kimmy, Kimmy, Candy Eater

[G70 Start] Rain, rain, rain. Amanda Redder, Amy to her friends, was getting pretty tired of it. She was soaked to the bone, he coat reserved for protecting her weapon from the rain. Amy hefted the heavy iron tube on her shoulder, arms sore from carrying the thing for almost a week. Who am I to comp...

Re: Dude, how come I feel like i'm not in Kansas anymore?

After what seemed like an eternity, Al finally calmed down, and looked down at his weapon, then back at Dougal. There was a momentary pause of confusion. 'The shooti- oh... right...' Ignoring the thoughts that tried to bubble up, the boy smiled again, and lightly tossed the TOZ to his friend, before...

Re: Woods of Paranoia

At first, Keith was pleasantly surprised (or as close to it as he could be) by the positive change of surroundings. Partially positive, at least. Ok, well, the girl stopped screaming. She was still freaking out, but in a much quieter, easier to ignore way. Fine by him. Unfortunately, the other one w...

Re: Dude, how come I feel like i'm not in Kansas anymore?

To its credit, Al's subconscious mind had been doing an admirable job of keeping him in the dark up until that point. But, between the punch and the apology-lecture, there was little that could be done to shield Albert from the truth, and the cliche 'This is actually happening!' realization hit him....

Re: Dude, how come I feel like i'm not in Kansas anymore?

Albert had known Dougal for a while now, and the boy liked to consider him one of his closest friends. They got along well enough, and Dougal's down-to-earth mentality balanced out his own... youth. So, he felt fairly confident in saying that this was not like Dougal, not as Al knew him, at least. H...

Re: Dude, how come I feel like i'm not in Kansas anymore?

Albert skipped, in a situation like this, quite literally skipped over to where his friend was standing, cheerfully carrying his new broken raft along with him. He was only a few feet away from Dougal when he fell to his knees. The motions made the light catch two things that Al noticed: the metal c...

Re: Woods of Paranoia

Any fear Keith had that the two people in front of him were plotting against him drained completely out of the young man as the spectacle in front of him unfolded. At least for the moment. If he had a decent weapon, he could've easily picked them both off right then and there. But, unarmed... Keith ...

Re: Dude, how come I feel like i'm not in Kansas anymore?

"Aw, windows are stuck!" Al pulled at the rim of the bus' window with both hands, putting all of his weight into trying to get it open. "Hnnnnnnnn-gwah!" The boy (no one who'd met Albert Lions would ever call him a 'man') slipped, as his grip suddenly faltered, and he spilled ou...

Re: Woods of Paranoia

B-152 - Keith Christoph - Start "Go on, Keith. You'll enjoy the trip!" Mrs. Christoph had urged her son, pushing the young man out the door that morning, "I've already paid and packed your bags." Such proactive behavior from Keith's mother. He was certain she just wanted to get ...

Making Memories

"Alright, kiddies." The same relaxed voice as always spoke over the rather rowdy drama class, only a few students listening, "Your attendance today is your test grade, so if you're not here, please raise your hand." A single hand raised, which was plaintively ignored. "Don't...
