BRAU2 Collar Description and Daypack Contents

#1

Post by The Director »

The collars used in the new Battle Royale AU are the traditional design as seen in the film: a thin silver band with black trim, a little under an inch in height, with a thicker section at the front, roughly the size of a watch face, and featuring a single red LED.

The daypacks are simple olive green duffel bags. They are completely unmarked. Each bag contains the following:
  • Rations: Each bag contains enough food and water to sustain a student for roughly three days. The rations are dry bread rolls, dense and low in flavor, numbering half a dozen per bag. The water comes in one-liter bottles, six of which are included in each bag.
  • Map and Compass: Each bag includes a detailed map of the arena, with the borders of areas marked in a grid pattern. A simple military compass is also included.

  • Watch: A basic digital watch, properly calibrated to display the time accurately, so that students can keep track of forbidden zones. There are no stopwatch/advanced features as part of the issued watch.
  • Designated Weapon And Instruction Manual (If Applicable): Each student is assigned a weapon, though some of these are not particularly suited for combat. Guns and complicated weapons come with instruction manuals explaining the loading process and basic use. More obvious melee weapons do not include a manual.

Please note that, unlike in the daypacks of most other versions, students are not provided with any medical equipment, tools for making fire, or sources of illumination, though all of these things may be found relatively easily in areas where people once lived and worked.
