Power details: Due to his eagle-like physiology, Kyle has the eagle eye enabling him to see objects and people from up to 3km away during the day. Kyle has an inner eyelid called a nictitating membrane that slides across his eyes every ¾ seconds and wipes dust and dirt from the cornea and due to it being translucent, Kyle can see through it.
Limitations and drawbacks: Kyle cannot speak due to his beak and has to convey his thoughts on paper or through motions. His eyesight during the night and in dark areas is bad, particularly compared to how it is during daylight which could be disorientating for him.
Appearance: Kyle stands at 6’0 and weighs 157 Ibs, giving him a lean frame with not much muscle mass to speak of. Lengthy legs and short arms and a dark, chestnut skin tone to his body except for his head.
His head is covered in white feathers which curve inwards towards his neck with a sharp curved beak that is colored yellow with a black tip to it up front. His eyes are colored yellow and as big as a human’s eye. Each eye is beneath a ridge that protects them from too much sun, the rim around the eye is yellow similar to the beak. In front of those are the nose holes on the beak.
Kyle goes for simple and comfortable clothes due to his head, so simple t-shirts he’s not worried about and outerwear he can slip on without having to force his head through. He goes either jeans or different shorts for casual wear and chino pants when he decides to be more formal with his wear. On the day of abduction, Kyle was wearing a black shirt with a skeleton waving at the viewer with his right arm, a varsity jacket, a pair of faded blue jeans and white sneakers.
Biography:
- Kyle was born to James and Jenna Benson on February 12th in Bend, Oregon. James is a lawyer who works at a lawfirm. Jenna works at the local hospital as a nurse. Kyle is an only child.
- Kyle's gift was apparant from birth. He had a bird's head, and couldn't eat most food and had to be put on a Pescatarian diet which he is on to this day. Kyle learned ASL as he got older as his beak made it so he couldn't speak.
- Kyle was a weary and careful child and would often play by himself. Other students were rather wary due to his gift and finding him creepy as a result. Kyle became frequently targeted as a child due to his head, and has grown to be sensitive about it. Kyle for his part enjoyed being left alone by the other students despite his teachers' fear of how this would impact him as he got older.
- Kyle always liked history, but that interest was mostly towards the war side of history. World War 1 and World War 2 in particular being periods in time that he can recall from memory due to study he has done at school and in his spare time.
- Kyle became interested in reading early on in his life at the age of 5. Starting with books such as Goosebumps and Animorphs that would hook him in, Goosebumps with the multiple path setup and Animorphs for it’s more adult plot that got more intense as it went on. This fascination spurned him to read horror fiction, particularly ones by Stephen King, H.P Lovecraft, Clive Barker and Dean Koontz.
- Kyle became interested in VTubers when a friend of his shared a link to a video of Hololive’s Korone on discord, and he became curious from the clip. Following that to others that became recommended to him and he started to follow some of their videos that had been translated by fans into english. He finds the video entertaining and a good way to get himself into a good mood during a bad day.
