Kaya stopped in one of the passenger rooms to eat and drink some of her supplies and reload all of her guns. The cutlass was strapped to her hip, still concealed within her coat. The Zip 22 was holstered at the other side of her waist. The Lee Navy was laid on the bed next to her once she'd refilled it, something she hadn't done since shooting Eric.

The announcements came. Kaya closed her eyes and listened. Eyes closed, she nodded along to the names one by one.

They snapped open when Seo-yun's evacuation was mentioned. She nodded quietly. Then she bit her lip as the description of the Buccaneers came on. A moment passed, and she tilted her head, seeming to consider for a moment.

"Hey, Seo-yun."

Kaya spoke aloud after a little while.

"I'm sure you'll see this at some point, and if you don't, someone will probably tell you."

A deep breath.

"Thanks for talking to us, I guess. It helped out, I...I think." Kaya closed her eyes. "I hope." Kaya stared up directly at the camera nestled securely in the corner of the room, her gaze intense.

"Take care of yourself out there."

A hint of a grin.

"I'll meet up with you real soon. We'll get coffee or something, it'll be great. Just gotta take care of some business first."

When she finished speaking, Kaya laid back on the bed, gun still within reach, and closed her eyes.
