SOTF: International takes place in a world incredibly similar to our own, and as such it will be an SOTF in similar style to the games on Main, following all established rules barring a handful of differences:
- The abduction will take place on the 4th of March, 2021. Characters will be abducted from several countries across the world; countries who are member states of the Commonwealth of Nations with a maximum of two characters representing each country, and must have no previous connections to each other.
- These characters live in a universe where there is no Battle Royale, The Hunger Games, etc or past iterations of SOTF - this will be the first known iteration of SOTF to exist in this universe.
- Handlers will be allowed to handle one character per roster - once you’ve submitted your character, that’s the only character you will be allowed to handle in SOTF: International. If you would like to submit a second character, your first must be dropped from your roster before the game begins, either by abandoning/forfeiting the character for use, or adopting your character off to another handler without a full roster.
- Characters submitted must be in their final year/grade of secondary schooling (or secondary schooling local equivalent), between the ages of 17 and 19; this can vary by country, so make sure to do your research when submitting characters.
- As there is only one character per roster, each handler will only receive one hero card instead of both one hero card and one swap card.
- There will also, due to the premise of children from around the world who do not know each other, be no pregame or sandbox.
- The winner at the conclusion of the game will get the honour of writing this game’s epilogue, including a scene with the in-character “host”, as well as encompassing no further than one year into the future - there will be some oversight from myself and my second (Ohm), but it will be otherwise up to you to craft as you please.
