Appearance: Genevieve stands at 5' 2" and weighs in at 110lbs. She is Caucasian, has light brown hair, large green eyes, eyebrows that slightly curve upward above her nose, a small nose with slightly flared in nostrils, and generally more rounded facial features. She wears her hair in a braided ponytail, with short ruffled bangs on either side of her face and the rest of her hair is shoulder length. Her arms and thin and twiggy, and her legs are are firm and hard. She has a modest bust, but no real defining curves or features otherwise.

She usually wears loose fitting clothing with a simple graphic tee, casual cargo pants, and a pullover hoodie as her common outfit. On occasion she'll wear a simple solid color baseball cap or a knit beanie. She wears a few accessories including a black silicone ring on her left ring finger, a small gold pendant, and a Mario themed lanyard key chain.

When selected, she was wearing a blue tee with a solid white shark graphic, black cargo pants, a simple grey pullover hoodie, and a solid red baseball cap. She had her lanyard key chain and black ring, but had forgotten her pendant at home.

Biography: Genevieve was born to Marshall and Juliet Erickson, the middle child of three. Her older brother Thomas is two years older than her and was very protective of her growing up and she in turn is very protective of her one year younger sister Selene. The family is middle-class, having a modest house with simple decorations and not many luxuries, preferring a simple average life. They don't spend very much, but aren't miserly, being able to enjoy modest living while being financially frugal. The family themselves is average and forgettable, with not many stand-out characteristics. Her father works at a bank and her mother works at an office job.

Living together her family was pretty much always close knit and tight, sharing pretty much all possessions, thoughts, and feelings with each other. They kept no secrets from family and got along very well with each other. Her parents raised their children with a simple moral framework of doing good for goodness' sake, being kind and courteous to all you meet, and just try to get along with everybody. Her father is her example of morality, her mother is her role model for life, her brother is her confidant, and her sister is her best friend. She strives to be like her parents when she grows up while keeping a close relationship with her siblings.

Through school, Genevieve didn't really stand out. Her parents had paid for her tuition, at her request to keep close with her friends and social circle. Her social situation was that she had a group of friends, but none which would consider her a best friend. She was always in large social circles, but more of a friend of a friend. She was a girl people sort of knew, but was kinda forgettable when pressed for details. Her grades were average, her intelligence and creativity average, she studied hard for exams but sorta slacked off otherwise and she was only slightly athletic. In terms of class rankings she was middle of the pack, not quite rising above the median range. Since she kept physically fit by exercising regularly in order to maintain a culturally acceptable figure, she performed a little above average in gym class. As she wasn't keen on sharing writings with anyone, thinking that they were of low quality, she kept quiet and slightly underperformed in English literature.

She was always into whatever was popular with her friends overall. She enjoyed book series like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, videogame franchises like Mario and Zelda, and some popular Anime like Naruto or Attack on Titan. She got into videogames because people around her spoke often about them and she made an effort to get into them. Pretty much, she got into whatever was already popular with other people. She was always following trends, never giving out recommendations but taking plenty. With SOTF, she pretends to like it as it is very popular, but the violence makes her uncomfortable and she never watches any combat or death scenes, preferring to get the important details from summaries and recaps that don't show the events visually or go into graphic detail.

Likewise in real life, she never spoke up her own concerns and backed away from confrontation. If things got really heated, with shouting and rising tensions, her first instinct was to run from the situation and sometimes literally. She preferred to make herself seem small and unimportant, not wanting to get anyone's attention. Since she blended into the background in most situations throughout her early childhood, she began to cultivate that wallflower nature as she grew up and made efforts to be in the least important or standout roles among her peers.

The one thing of hers that she could was her own interest was writing. She wrote stories inspired by the media she consumed, blending genres together and experimenting with world building. Though she started reading popular book series to fit in, the world of literature opened up her eyes to other worlds. She loved the stories she read and wanted to make her own. Ultimately she settled on creating a fictionalized account of her life and circumstances, trying to inject something strange and fantastic into what she saw was a boring and dreary life. Despite her creativity in this endeavor, she never shared it with anyone of her friends. Even with her family, she would tell and show them her other writings, but not her major work. She feared she was really as mediocre as she saw herself and thought her writing would likewise be bland and low quality. Not wanting to have those fears validated, she never gave anyone the chance to validate them.

Genevieve is an average girl living an average life in an average world, never standing out. She doesn't speak up, stand out, or buck trends. What people around her like she likes, what is out of favor drops from her interests, and she drifts along from popular thing to popular thing. She knows people but is only generally known herself, her friends like her for her sociable personality but don't really have an in-depth reason to hang out with her. She just blends in with the crowd and moves forward in life, never making a real presence or impact on anything.

Advantages: Genevieve is friendly and sociable, with no enemies to speak of that she knows. She can get along with just about anyone. While not very athletic, she does keep fit and is generally unburdened. If she has to run, she can jet pretty far before slowing down.
Disadvantages: She's a follower, not a leader. If a group decides, she'll go along with it and if there's a leader in place she'll fall in line without protest. She lacks spirit and doesn't really put all too much effort into things. When things go South, if she can't run away she's basically helpless.

Heya, Lord_Shadow! Genevieve is looking pretty solid, but is DENIED pending a few tweaks and elaborations.

How long is her hair? Also, can I maybe get one more distinguishing facial feature for her (eye shape, mouth, complexion, something of the sort)?

Is Genevieve Caucasian? It's sort of implied but I'm not 100% sure.

How much younger and older than Genevieve are her siblings? Also, it's implied that her family is middle class and just frugal, but I'd love to see that made slightly more explicit. Also also, I'd like to get one defining element of her relationship with each family member spelled out, so they don't blend together quite so much.

There are a few details I'd like to get about Genevieve that relate specifically to the setting. Mangrove Garden is a private school, but offers a scholarship to students who score well on a test. Did she get the scholarship, or did her parents decide to pay tuition? Where does she land in the class rankings? Does she have any subjects she's especially better or worse in?

Also, how does she feel about SOTF? It seems like she might have at least a decent awareness of it since it's super popular and she's a trend chaser, but it's also fine if she's not into it; I'd just like to get her relationship to the show sketched out a bit more.

Why didn't Genevieve ever show anyone her biggest work?

What about reading and video games appealed to her?

Is Genevieve's blending in intentional, or does it just sort of happen? How does she feel about it?

Can I hear just a tiny bit more about Genevieve's fitness? Does she work out some on her own? Has she ever been on any school teams?

Can I also hear a bit more about Genevieve's lack of options if things start going wrong? Where does this stem from?
