BR Reloaded - The Rules & How it Works

Refer back to the Site Rules. Most of these still apply, with an exception for the maximum character cap. Given the 42 characters are already there, if some aren't taken by the end of sign ups, then you may, if you wish, take on a third. The remainder will be used by The Director (more on him in a moment)

* You have some artistic liscence with how you go about writing the characters you're using: don't abuse it. Shuuya is not going to become a stone-cold killer overnight, Kazushi Niida will not develop a newfound respect for women. Where backstory is given, feel free to build on that, but do NOT contradict it. Obviously with characters such as Fumiyo and Izumi, you have plenty of free reign, so take advantage of that.

* That said, there's nothing wrong with having your character act differently to how they behaved in the novel/manga/film - this RP would be pointless if that was the case. Just try to avoid drastic personality or ideological changes without good justification.

How it works:

For the most part, this will be play by post - exactly like the main SOTF RP and the Minis. However, there will be intervention, at certain points from a DM. That's right, a Dungeon Master like in a traditional RPG.

The purpose of the DM (using the account of 'The Director') is to RP those students not under the direct control of players. (Referred to herein as NPCs) They may be friendly, they may be agressive - it depends on the character and a slight random element. Regardless, just try and RP with them as you would an ordinary PC.

Rolls will be conducted as normal, with each set taking place halfway between an announcement (every six hours, in game).

Weapons will be randomly assigned from a pool mostly drawn from those in the novel, so yeah, it's gonna be another crapshoot.
