The Worst Game In History

Program: ShiroIwa Junior High School - Grade 9/Class B - COMMENCE

The Headquarters for those running the Program. Unsurprisingly, this is designated as a Danger Zone as soon as the last student vacates the premises.

Kamon found himself yawning intermittently as the students filtered out of the classroom. The two minute intervals drew out the process considerably, and he really wanted to get the whole thing over and done with to catch a little shut eye. He had to be on duty in order to make the announcements every six hours, after all, that didn't leave him much of a window for sleeping. Kamon, in other editions of the game, had learned to take what sleep he could get. It wouldn't do for the students to think their dearest Director was drowsy, would it?

Still, as always the antics of the students provided some amusement. Most of the gang of thugs... Kiriyama's bunch sauntered out in utmost confidence, like they knew exactly what they were going to do. One kid fell over quite theatrically twice within a short space of time, leaving Kamon wondering if he was planning something or was really just that squeamish. The general population went hesitantly, some even in tears, which was really only to be expected. A few seemed very collected and calm... Kamon noted those downs as possibly ones to watch. Those that were composed were also often the best players. Shimizu of course went defiantly, futile but still very funny.

He checked his watch, yawned, then called out the next name.

Yukie notice afterward that Shinji had walked to Shuuya corpse after her. Helping Hirono to her seat she notice that he was looking at her. He then tried whispered an message to her. She focus on his mouth as he spoke. While the exact words weren't clear it seem like he was telling her to go along with what was going on. She wanted to nod in reply but held her head straight. She had to act as if nothing happen between the two. Of course she felt a small relief. Shinji was one of Shuuya's best friends. If he had some sort of plan then escaping seem all the more possible.

Afterward Kamon finish his announcement. The idea of writing down everyone names... It sickened her. Even more so when he mention that she didn't had to write Shuuya. As if the boy was just some object. The fat man was really pissing her off. Of course she remembered Shinji advice. Don't retaliate... She couldn't risk anything. The lives of her friends and hers were on the line. To add Shuuya... She knew he would want for everyone to escape. She had to make sure it happen. She just had to remember that these were just papers... Words written on some sick bastards papers meant nothing. It was everything that was going to happen afterward. And so she wrote down her classmates names while repeating in her head that it was just a paper.

Finally when all was said and done the name were finally starting to be announced. Yukie starting to get tense as names were announced one after another. Some part of her kept worrying that someone would play the game. That someone would wait outside and just shoot them one by one. She had to get rid of such thoughts. She couldn't worry about such a thing. Instead she had to focus on a way out. A way to protect everyone. While in her thoughts she didn't notice Shinji walking by. But she did notice the note that fell on her lap. She wanted to look down for it but felt it might be risky for this moment. Instead she look up to see who drop it and saw Shinji. Hopefully whatever he wrote would help them meet up. She stealthy grab the note when another letter came by. This time by Yuko. The poor girl seem so lost. It angered Yukie for someone so fragile as her to be play the game. It angered her to see her friends being announced one by one to be send off to a death row. She was going to save everyone. There was a way out. She knew it.

"Female Student #2, Yukie Utsumi"

It was her turn finally. She clenched the two notes in her hands as she walk out. She gave Kamon one last look of hatred before leaving. She grabbed her bag and dash off. She ran as fast as she could out of the school. She had to make sure to find as many... No... She had to make sure she had to find ALL of her friends and find a way off this island. She was going to defeat the system.

She was going to do what Shuuya wanted.

((Yukie Utsumi continued in Gameplan))
