Open!

This area consists of the trucking road and the customs office.

The trucking road, located at the outskirts of the fishing village, functions as the main entrance and exit to Cabeza del Dragón. The primary purpose for the trucking road, which is made of somewhat crumbly asphalt, was to facilitate the export of goods. Fish and other nautical resources made their way along this path, ending up in distant distribution centers for sorting and dispatch to other parts of America. As the road leads out of the main area of Cabeza del Dragón, the fishing village gives way to coastal grassland, and on the border between the fishing village and the grassland one can see several peddler stands dotting one side of the road. Although these stands are empty, they are now freely open, and still sport signs advertising their wares: seafood, horchata, and fresh fruits.

The customs office is a building located near the inland edge of the fishing village, built after American occupation for the purpose of facilitating the transportation and cataloging of resources and people passing in and out the village. On the outside, the customs office is a small, one story building disconnected from all other buildings in the village, boasting a single entrance and several tall windows. On the inside is a sort of waiting room. This room features several chairs sprinkled across the floor facing a teller stand, with several counters and low coffee tables in between. To access the teller stand, workers at the customs office used a door on one end of the waiting room, leading to the stand itself and to an employee room, consisting of several desks still stuffed with paperwork. Regardless of what room one is in, though, propaganda lines the walls; a number of posters celebrate the American way of life and the occupation of Mexico.

Molly, in her dizziness and confusion, fell to the ground again. It was hard to move, and her arms were the most heaviest of all. Weakly gripping her sledgehammer, that had crashed on the floor with a loud bang when she fell, Molly tried to move her arms again, to no avail. She had used up all her strength on weakly hitting someone...Sebbo, maybe. She didn't care. She felt weak, and not just mentally. In fact, she only felt...numb mentally. But Molly couldn't lift even her hand, much less, the sledgehammer.

Waiting for her vision to go back to normal and not see double, Molly wiped the blood from her nose off, and although she felt a wet, soggy stain across her hand, Molly didn't care. In fact, if she looked at the sheer amount of blood that had left her, she might start caring. And she didn't want that.

Molly wasn't in a state to stand up straight, but she was up, in a half-squatting, half-sneaking position. Breathing hard and deeply, she used the strongest part of her body, her legs, which were strong from all the swimming practice. They were shaking and a little hard to direct, but they packed a kick.

Using one leg, Molly swiftly (although not very strongly) kicked Sebbo over on his back. Without even acknowledging if Sebbo was on his back or not, Molly then used her whole body to propel her other leg forward, right up between his pants.

The rapier suddenly moved again, it waggled, hitting his head very lightly, Sebbo tried to take control of it, but as he was trying to, he could feel Molly kick him in the sides. It didn't made him move to be belly up, but it was a distraction. The rapier was still moving like a cobra he couldn't bend. Then he could feel Molly's feet colliding with his arse.

"HEY!"

Angrily he turned his head away from Kian to face Molly.

"Don't do that."

Kian stopped himself from swinging the rapier around blindly and he lowered it a little. Since Sebbo seemed like he was now getting distracted by Molly and this would be the perfect moment for him to try to calm the situation down. But Sebbo was pretty much over the top of him and he had to get himself out from under the guy. Kian wanted this fight to stop. But could he really try to talk to Sebbo? Was this guy really going to stop what he was doing if Kian tried to talk some reason into him?

Normally Kian was the most laidback person that anyone would meet. But he was not a big pushover if people knew how to push his buttons the wrong way. Right now, he needed the fight button more than the reasoning button. He could not let his guard down with Sebbo at all. He had to fight dirty. Faith would have a bit of respect for him if he did fight back more dirty.

Sebbo's face was turned to the side and this was the perfect opportunity for Kian to take action. He raised the rapier again and he swung it again. But this time directly at Sebbo's face.

No and I failed ran through Molly's mind, trampling any other thoughts with no competition. She stared into Sebbo, her face displaying nothing but fear. Like a cowardly crab, Molly crawled backwards away from Sebbo, being too tired and scared to stand up. Her sledgehammer was wrapped around her right hand to the point of her hand going numb.

"I'm sorry...."

Formerly used at school as a package along with crocodile tears and a devillish smirk afterwards, Molly this time, said those words honestly, and instinctually. She muttered those wards again under her breath, trying to make it sound genuine, a habit she picked up a long time ago.

Molly gasped, since unlike what Sebbo didn't see, Molly very much saw Kian raise the rapier up. And for a moment, she was even more scared, before realising that Kian was aiming it at Sebbo. Just like her.

Molly closed her eyes, and swung her sledgehammer with renewed strength. Where she hit, she couldn't care less, just as long as she hit something of Sebbo.

Sebbo could feel another swing - this time right in his face. He instinctively closed his eyes used both of his hands to cover his face. He decided to stand up again, backing away from Kian. With that movement, he was incidentally not hit by Molly's hammer swing.

Kian was glad to have Sebbo not on top of him anymore and this was his chance to get away with Molly. He just had to get himself to move off of the floor and then he could make a rush for the exit. He moved himself to his feet as quickly as he could and then he glanced at Molly. Hopefully, he could get her to follow him and they could retreat to a safer zone. This was not what he had wanted to happen.

"Molly, forget about him. Now is our chance to run!"

He still had a grip on the rapier and he felt himself not willing to let it go. As if he wanted to leave something that Sebbo could use to hurt someone else. If he wanted to come after them for it. Then so be it. He was going to make sure that he was more prepared for it next time.

Kian turned towards the exit and he noticed that his bag had fallen off in the fight. He winced a little as he picked it up quickly with his hurting hand and he made his way quickly towards the exit. He hoped that Molly was following him. He didn't want her to get hurt by Sebbo again.

Shoot. She didn't hit him. Crap, this was bad, very bad. Molly laid on the ground, her arms quite tired out. She was strong, but a sledgehammer as heavy as this was hard to use. She closed her eyes, and tried not to cry, although once she did, she found them hard to open again. She was so tired, so scared, so upset, she just wanted to get out of here, and if the yanks didn't let her...

"Huh?....Run?"

Molly opened her tired eyes to vaguely see Kian rush past her, and for a moment, Molly thought that Kian had intentionally abandoned her. That made sense, somewhat. But Molly knew he didn't mean it that way. After all, if he wanted to abandon her, he wouldn't want to say to the abandonee that he was leaving her, and he said "Our chance." Still, there was always that lingering thought in her head...

But Molly McKenzie was not a coward. She wasn't about to run away from her problems like some mentalist. She wasn't weak. Molly, despite being tired, was going to survive. She stood up, and saw Sebbo without a weapon. And she knew that she should be running away, that she should be getting away from Sebbo, that she should be with Kian. But she didn't. She didn't let herself be humiliated.

Molly charged towards Sebbo, trying to hit Sebbo blindly. There was no method, there was no strategy, she didn't dare think. She just attacked.

Goddamn it! Kian was running away with his weapon. Sebbo stood up and also ran to the direction of the exit, where Kian was running at, but Molly stood in the way, trying to hit Sebbo. Her hand collided with Sebbo's shoulder.

"Ow!"

Ignoring Molly in the way, he rushed past her, trying to catch up on Kian, who had delayed his exit by dropping the bag and having picked it up again. But when he was outside after having opened the door he had no clue in which direction Kian had run.

((Sebbo continued elsewhere))

In her raw, no-barred attempted attack, Molly had given up any idea of safety, and had charged right at Sebbo, missed...

And went flying right into the cold, hard floor, her sledgehammer slamming loudly right next to her, hurting her arm in the process. As she fell, she let out a gasp-like scream, and like a cornered animal she didn't dare move. Then she realised that NOT moving was in fact, a fatal mistake.

Molly stayed there, looking at the floor, hyper ventilating, barely acknowledging the cold tears flowing out of her eyes. This was a bad idea, she should have just run away, and now....she was going to...

Why wasn't Sebbo reacting?

Slowly, shakily, Molly turned her head. Then, instinctually, Molly, without even noticing Sebbo wasn't there, swung her sledgehammer over her along with her body. The sledgehammer landed next to her, and Molly was left staring at nothing. Nothing here was notable, except for a swung open door that had just stopped moving, and a small trail of blood, leading right into her. The blood was stopping slightly, but...Molly needed to sit it out, she was getting even more dizzy.

Standing up, Molly quickly and groggily walked outside to grab her duffel bag, and then walked back in and slammed the door. Opening the duffel bag up, she took out the first aid kit and took out some small bandages, and stuffed it up her nose to slow the bleeding. Sitting up against the wall, Molly waited for the bleeding to stop, and closed her eyes so she didn't have to see anymore blood. She calmed down.

Of course, when people calmed down, their adrenaline level went down as well, and with lower adrenaline levels, is the reemergence of logic. Thought. What should have been dones. All that. For Molly, that meant comprehending what happened in the last few minutes, now that the situation weren't hampered by adrenaline, Sebbo and danger.

Oh dear God. She really did everything wrong, didn't she? Molly had been so stupid. She had put her instinct to survive, her selfishness, her fear, above logic and her own safety. Even when Sebbo was down, and Kian and Molly could have escaped, she didn't, she wanted to hurt Sebbo. In fact, she didn't even care if she hurt Kian. The person who was nothing but kind to her. She really deserved to be hated, didn't she? If Kian abandoned her, then that made sense. Since when did she help anyone?

Molly curled up into a ball, sobbing out of self-pity. She'll get out of here soon, the blood here, and what had just happened meant she couldn't stay here.

She...just needed a bit of....time. Then she'll be out.
