The remainder of the village consists of an arrangement of boardwalks, a small playground, and the town square between the dormitories. The square may once have been maintained but now is unkempt and overgrown with short arctic grass. A lifesize granite statue of Vladimir Lenin stands proudly atop a dias of stone, with the word Ле́нин etched onto it.

The statue of Lenin was opened. The bronze-cast pupil of the right eye, six millimeters by six millimeters, wound open with a clockwise corkscrew motion allowing passage of the project.

It took approximately eighteen seconds in total to disengage fully from it's repository within the statue, at an exactingly average speed of several hundredsome bodies per second.

The clicking noise it made as it properly deployed measured anywhere from fifteen to twenty decibels. It accelerated to theoretical maximum speed within three seconds.
