It really was a good day outside, wasn't it? The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and Fumiyo had finished her errands early, so she had time to just sit and relax in the local park. Homework could wait. She'd decided to treat herself to some imagawayaki. Taking a bite into one, she glanced up as a plane soared overhead, watching it as it flew like a bird. It reminded her of her brother. He'd always loved planes, and now he was flying them for the Air Force.

She took another bite out of the disk of imagawayaki. This one had red bean paste, her favourite. Her classmates were probably finished with cleaning the school now, so maybe she'd bump into someone here. To be honest, apart from Yukie, Mayumi and Yoshimi, she didn't really know much about them. She was pretty quiet in class, but Fumiyo preferred to listen, rather than drown everyone else out like a certain toad-shaped man with a high opinion of himself. She giggled, and took another bite out of her imagawayaki.

Then again, with her nose, she shouldn't be making fun of other people's appearances. She rubbed it, suddenly a little conscious. It looked a little big, she thought.
